E il re Salomone giurò pel Signore, e disse: Il Signore faccia a me questo, e peggio, s'ei non è vero, che in danno della sua propria vita ha profferite queste parole Adonia.

Y el rey Salomón juró por Jehová, diciendo: Así me haga Dios y así me añada, que contra su vida ha hablado Adonía esta palabra.

Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life.
