El rey Salomón respondió a su madre: «¿Por qué pides a Abisag sunamita para Adonías? Pide también para él el reino; pues él es mi hermano mayor, y tiene consigo al sacerdote Abiatar y a Joab hijo de Sarvia».
Y el rey Salomón respondió, y dijo á su madre: ¿Por qué pides á Abisag Sunamita para Adonía? Demanda también para él el reino, porque él es mi hermano mayor; y tiene también á Abiathar sacerdote, y á Joab hijo de Sarvia.
And king Solomon answered and said unto his mother, And why dost thou ask Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? ask for him the kingdom also; for he is mine elder brother; even for him, and for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah.
