Ahab, therefore, spake unto Naboth, saying—Come! give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, for, the same, is near by my house, and let me give thee, instead thereof, a vineyard better than it,—if it be good in thine eyes, I will give thee silver to the value of this.
Y Achâb habló á Naboth, diciendo: Dame tu viña para un huerto de legumbres, porque está cercana, junto á mi casa, y yo te daré por ella otra viña mejor que esta; ó si mejor te pareciere, te pagaré su valor en dinero.
And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.
Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, “Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near my house; and I will give you for it a better vineyard than it. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.”
