34Und Benhadad sprach zu ihm: Die Städte, die mein Vater deinem Vater weggenommen hat, will ich zurückgeben, und du magst dir Bazare zu Damaskus anlegen, wie mein Vater zu Samaria gethan hat. Was aber mich betrifft, so wollest du mich auf solche Vereinbarung hin freilassen. Da schloß er einen Vertrag mit ihm und ließ ihn ziehen.

34Y díjole Ben-adad: Las ciudades que mi padre tomó al tuyo, yo las restituiré; y haz plazas en Damasco para ti, como mi padre las hizo en Samaria. Y yo, dijo Achâb, te dejaré partir con esta alianza. Hizo pues con él alianza, y dejóle ir.

34And Ben-hadad said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.

34Ben Hadad said to him, “The cities which my father took from your father I will restore. You shall make streets for yourself in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria.” “I”, said Ahab, “will let you go with this covenant.” So he made a covenant with him and let him go.
