Si cinsero i fianchi coi sacchi, e si posero la corda al collo, e andarono a trovare il re d'Israele, e gli dissero: Benadad tuo servo dice: Salvami: ti prego, la vita. E quegli disse: Se egli è ancor vivo, egli è mio fratello:
Ciñeron pues sus lomos de sacos, y sogas á sus cabezas, y vinieron al rey de Israel, y dijéronle: Tu siervo Ben-adad dice: Ruégote que viva mi alma. Y él respondió: Si él vive aún, mi hermano es.
So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and put ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant Ben-hadad saith, I pray thee, let me live. And he said, Is he yet alive? he is my brother.
