26Da nahmen sie den Farren, den man ihnen gab, und richteten ihn her. Dann riefen sie den Namen des Baal an, vom Morgen bis zum Mittag: "Baal, erhöre uns!" Aber da gab es keinen Laut und keine Antwort. Und sie hinkten um den Altar, den man gemacht hatte.
