1E foi palavra do SENHOR a Jeú, filho de Hanani, contra Baasa, dizendo:
2Posto que te levantei do pó, e te pus por príncipe sobre meu povo Israel, e andaste no caminho de Jeroboão, e fizeste pecar a meu povo Israel, provocando-me à ira com os seus pecados;
3Eis que varrerei a posteridade de Baasa, e a posteridade de sua casa; e tornarei a tua casa como a casa de Jeroboão, filho de Nebate.
4O que de Baasa for morto na cidade, os cães lhe comerão; e o que dele for morto no campo, as aves do céu o comerão.
5Os demais dos feitos de Baasa, e as coisas que fez, e sua fortaleza, não está tudo escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?
6E descansou Baasa com seus pais, e foi sepultado em Tirsa; e reinou em seu lugar Elá, seu filho.
7Porém a palavra do SENHOR por meio de Jeú profeta, filho de Hanani, havia sido contra Baasa e também contra sua casa, com motivo de todo o mal que fez aos olhos do SENHOR, provocando-lhe à ira com as obras de suas mãos, para que fosse feita como a casa de Jeroboão; e porque o havia ferido.
8No ano vinte e seis de Asa rei de Judá, começou a reinar Elá filho de Baasa sobre Israel em Tirsa; e reinou dois anos.
9E fez conspiração contra ele seu servo Zinri, comandante da metade dos carros. E estando ele em Tirsa, bebendo e embriagado em casa de Arsa seu mordomo em Tirsa,
10Veio Zinri, e o feriu e matou, no ano vinte e sete de Asa rei de Judá; e reinou em lugar seu.
11E logo que chegou a reinar e esteve sentado em seu trono, feriu toda a casa de Baasa, sem deixar nela macho, nem seus parentes nem amigos.
12Assim exterminou Zinri toda a casa de Baasa, conforme à palavra do SENHOR, que havia proferido contra Baasa por meio do profeta Jeú;
13Por todos os pecados de Baasa, e os pecados de Elá seu filho, com que eles pecaram e fizeram pecar a Israel, provocando à ira ao SENHOR Deus de Israel com suas vaidades.
14Os demais feitos de Elá, e todas as coisas que fez, não está tudo escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?
15No ano vinte e sete de Asa rei de Judá, começou a reinar Zinri, e reinou sete dias em Tirsa; e o povo havia assentado campo sobre Gibetom, cidade dos filisteus.
16E o povo que estava no campo ouviu dizer: Zinri fez conspiração, e matou ao rei. Então todo Israel levantou o mesmo dia por rei sobre Israel a Onri, general do exército, no campo.
17E subiu Onri de Gibetom, e com ele todo Israel, e cercaram a Tirsa.
18Mas vendo Zinri tomado a cidade, entrou no palácio da casa real, e pegou fogo à casa consigo: assim morreu.
19Por seus pecados que ele havia cometido, fazendo o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR, e andando nos caminhos de Jeroboão, e em seu pecado que cometeu, fazendo pecar a Israel.
20Os demais feitos de Zinri, e sua conspiração que formou, não está tudo escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?
21Então o povo de Israel foi dividido em duas partes: a metade do povo seguia a Tibni filho de Ginate, para fazê-lo rei: e a outra metade seguia a Onri.
22Mas o povo que seguia a Onri pôde mais que o que seguia a Tibni filho de Ginate; e Tibni morreu, e Onri foi rei.
23No ano trinta e um de Asa rei de Judá, começou a reinar Onri sobre Israel, e reinou doze anos: em Tirsa reinou seis anos.
24E ele comprou de Semer o monte de Samaria por dois talentos de prata, e edificou no monte: e chamou o nome da cidade que edificou Samaria, do nome de Semer, senhor que foi daquele monte.
25E Onri fez o mau aos olhos do SENHOR, e fez pior que todos os que haviam sido antes dele:
26Pois andou em todos os caminhos de Jeroboão filho de Nebate, e em seu pecado com que fez pecar a Israel, provocando à ira ao SENHOR Deus de Israel com seus ídolos.
27Os demais dos feitos de Onri, e todas as coisas que fez, e suas valentias que executou, não está tudo escrito no livro das crônicas dos reis de Israel?
28E Onri descansou com seus pais, e foi sepultado em Samaria; e reinou em lugar seu Acabe, seu filho.
29E começou a reinar Acabe filho de Onri sobre Israel o ano trinta e oito de Asa rei de Judá.
30E reinou Acabe filho de Onri sobre Israel em Samaria vinte e dois anos. E Acabe filho de Onri fez o que era mau aos olhos do SENHOR além de todos os que foram antes dele;
31Porque lhe foi pouca coisa andar nos pecados de Jeroboão filho de Nebate, e tomou por mulher a Jezabel filha de Etbaal rei dos sidônios, e foi e serviu a Baal, e o adorou.
32E fez altar a Baal, no templo de Baal que ele edificou em Samaria.
33Fez também Acabe um bosque; e acrescentou Acabe fazendo provocar à ira ao SENHOR Deus de Israel, mais que todos os reis de Israel que antes dele haviam sido.
34Em seu tempo Hiel de Betel reedificou a Jericó. À custa de Abirão seu primogênito lançou o alicerce, e à custa de Segube seu filho posterior pôs suas portas, conforme à palavra do SENHOR que havia falado por Josué filho de Num.

1Y FUÉ palabra de Jehová á Jehú hijo de Hanani contra Baasa, diciendo:
2Pues que yo te levanté del polvo, y te puse por príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel, y tú has andado en el camino de Jeroboam, y has hecho pecar á mi pueblo Israel, provocándome á ira con sus pecados;
3He aquí yo barreré la posteridad de Baasa, y la posteridad de su casa: y pondré tu casa como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat.
4El que de Baasa fuere muerto en la ciudad, le comerán los perros; y el que de él fuere muerto en el campo, comerlo han las aves del cielo.
5Lo demás de los hechos de Baasa, y las cosas que hizo, y su fortaleza, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
6Y durmió Baasa con sus padres, y fué sepultado en Thirsa; y reinó en su lugar Ela su hijo.
7Empero la palabra de Jehová por mano de Jehú profeta, hijo de Hanani, había sido contra Baasa y también contra su casa, con motivo de todo lo malo que hizo á los ojos de Jehová, provocándole á ira con las obras de sus manos, para que fuese hecha como la casa de Jeroboam; y porque lo había herido.
8En el año veintiséis de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Ela hijo de Baasa sobre Israel en Thirsa; y reinó dos años.
9E hizo conjuración contra él su siervo Zimri, comandante de la mitad de los carros. Y estando él en Thirsa, bebiendo y embriagado en casa de Arsa su mayordomo en Thirsa,
10Vino Zimri, y lo hirió y mató, en el año veintisiete de Asa rey de Judá; y reinó en lugar suyo.
11Y luego que llegó á reinar y estuvo sentado en su trono, hirió toda la casa de Baasa, sin dejar en ella meante á la pared, ni sus parientes ni amigos.
12Así rayó Zimri toda la casa de Baasa, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, que había proferido contra Baasa por medio del profeta Jehú;
13Por todos los pecados de Baasa, y los pecados de Ela su hijo, con que ellos pecaron é hicieron pecar á Israel, provocando á enojo á Jehová Dios de Israel con sus vanidades.
14Los demás hechos de Ela, y todas las cosas que hizo, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
15En el año veintisiete de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Zimri, y reinó siete días en Thirsa; y el pueblo había asentado campo sobre Gibbethón, ciudad de los Filisteos.
16Y el pueblo que estaba en el campo oyó decir: Zimri ha hecho conjuración, y ha muerto al rey. Entonces todo Israel levantó el mismo día por rey sobre Israel á Omri, general del ejército, en el campo.
17Y subió Omri de Gibbethón, y con él todo Israel, y cercaron á Thirsa.
18Mas viendo Zimri tomada la ciudad, metióse en el palacio de la casa real, y pegó fuego á la casa consigo: así murió,
19Por sus pecados que él había cometido, haciendo lo malo á los ojos de Jehová, y andando en los caminos de Jeroboam, y en su pecado que cometió, haciendo pecar á Israel.
20Los demás hechos de Zimri, y su conspiración que formó, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
21Entonces el pueblo de Israel fué dividido en dos partes: la mitad del pueblo seguía á Thibni hijo de Gineth, para hacerlo rey: y la otra mitad seguía á Omri.
22Mas el pueblo que seguía á Omri, pudo más que el que seguía á Thibni hijo de Gineth; y Thibni murió, y Omri fué rey.
23En el año treinta y uno de Asa rey de Judá, comenzó á reinar Omri sobre Israel, y reinó doce años: en Thirsa reinó seis años.
24Y compró él de Semer el monte de Samaria por dos talentos de plata, y edificó en el monte: y llamó el nombre de la ciudad que edificó, Samaria, del nombre de Semer, señor que fué de aquel monte.
25Y Omri hizo lo malo á los ojos de Jehová, é hizo peor que todos los que habían sido antes de él:
26Pues anduvo en todos los caminos de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y en su pecado con que hizo pecar á Israel, provocando á ira á Jehová Dios de Israel con sus ídolos.
27Lo demás de los hechos de Omri, y todas las cosas que hizo, y sus valentías que ejecutó, ¿no está todo escrito en el libro de las crónicas de los reyes de Israel?
28Y Omri durmió con sus padres, y fué sepultado en Samaria; y reinó en lugar suyo Achâb, su hijo.
29Y comenzó á reinar Achâb hijo de Omri sobre Israel el año treinta y ocho de Asa rey de Judá.
30Y reinó Achâb hijo de Omri sobre Israel en Samaria veintidós años. Y Achâb hijo de Omri hizo lo malo á los ojos de Jehová sobre todos los que fueron antes de él;
31Porque le fué ligera cosa andar en los pecados de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y tomó por mujer á Jezabel hija de Ethbaal rey de los Sidonios, y fué y sirvió á Baal, y lo adoró.
32E hizo altar á Baal, en el templo de Baal que él edificó en Samaria.
33Hizo también Achâb un bosque; y añadió Achâb haciendo provocar á ira á Jehová Dios de Israel, más que todos los reyes de Israel que antes de él habían sido.
34En su tiempo Hiel de Beth-el reedificó á Jericó. En Abiram su primogénito echó el cimiento, y en Segub su hijo postrero puso sus puertas; conforme á la palabra de Jehová que había hablado por Josué hijo de Nun.

1Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,
2Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;
3Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
4Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.
5Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
6So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.
7And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.
8In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.
9And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.
10And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.
11And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
12Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,
13For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
14Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
15In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.
16And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.
17And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.
18And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king’s house, and burnt the king’s house over him with fire, and died,
19For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.
20Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he wrought, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
21Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.
22But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.
23In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.
24And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.
25But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.
26For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.
27Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he shewed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
28So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.
29And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.
30And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.
31And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.
32And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
33And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
34In his days did Hiel the Beth-elite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.

1The LORD’s word came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,
2“Because I exalted you out of the dust and made you prince over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins,
3behold, I will utterly sweep away Baasha and his house; and I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
4The dogs will eat Baasha’s descendants who die in the city; and he who dies of his in the field, the birds of the sky will eat.”
5Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
6Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah; and Elah his son reigned in his place.
7Moreover the LORD’s word came by the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha and against his house, both because of all the evil that he did in the LORD’s sight, to provoke him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam, and because he struck him.
8In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah, Elah the son of Baasha began to reign over Israel in Tirzah for two years.

12Thus Zimri destroyed all the house of Baasha, according to the LORD’s word which he spoke against Baasha by Jehu the prophet,
13for all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, which they sinned and with which they made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger with their vanities.

29In the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, Ahab the son of Omri began to reign over Israel. Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years.
30Ahab the son of Omri did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight above all that were before him.
31As if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, he took as wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Sidonians, and went and served Baal and worshiped him.
32He raised up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
33Ahab made the Asherah; and Ahab did more yet to provoke the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger than all the kings of Israel who were before him.
34In his days Hiel the Bethelite built Jericho. He laid its foundation with the loss of Abiram his firstborn, and set up its gates with the loss of his youngest son Segub, according to the LORD’s word, which he spoke by Joshua the son of Nun.
