Ecco, ch'io mieterò la posterità di Baasa, e la posterità della sua famiglia; e della tua casa farò quello, che ho fatto della casa di Geroboam figliuolo di Nabat.

He aquí yo barreré la posteridad de Baasa, y la posteridad de su casa: y pondré tu casa como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat.

Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

behold, I will utterly sweep away Baasha and his house; and I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
