(E ciò) in pena de' peccati, che avea commessi Geroboam, e avea fatto commettere ad Israele, e per la iniquità, colla quale avea irritato il Signore Dio d'Israele.

Por los pecados de Jeroboam que él había cometido, y con los cuales hizo pecar á Israel; y por su provocación con que provocó á enojo á Jehová Dios de Israel.

Because of the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and which he made Israel sin, by his provocation wherewith he provoked the LORD God of Israel to anger.
