Quindi è, che Asa preso tutto l'argento, e l'oro, che era rimaso ne' tesori della casa del Signore, e ne' tesori della casa reale, lo messe in mano de' suoi servi, e li mandò a trovar Benadad figliuolo di Tabremon, figliuolo di Hezion, re della Siria, che abitava in Damasco, per dire a lui:
