13Quitó también a su madre Maacá la dignidad de reina, porque ella había hecho un ídolo abominable en honor de Aschera. Asá hizo pedazos el ídolo abominable y lo quemó en el valle del Cedrón.

13Y también privó á su madre Maachâ de ser princesa, porque había hecho un ídolo en un bosque. Además deshizo Asa el ídolo de su madre, y quemólo junto al torrente de Cedrón.

13And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron.

13He also removed Maacah his mother from being queen, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah. Asa cut down her image and burned it at the brook Kidron.
