Lorsqu'il s'en fut allé, un lion le rencontra en chemin et le tua. Son corps fut jeté sur le chemin, et l'âne restait près de lui. Le lion se tenait aussi près du corps.

Y yéndose, topóle un león en el camino, y matóle; y su cuerpo estaba echado en el camino, y el asno estaba junto á él, y el león también estaba junto al cuerpo.

And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

When he had gone, a lion met him by the way and killed him. His body was thrown on the path, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the body.
