18Sie machten sich also aus Midian auf und gelangten nach Paran; aus Paran nahmen sie dann Leute mit sich und kamen so nach Ägypten zum Pharao, dem ägyptischen Könige. Dieser gab ihm ein Haus und wies ihm seinen Unterhalt an und schenkte ihm auch ein Landgut.
