(Conciossiachè per sei mesi ivi si trattenne Gioab, e tutto Israele, affine di porre a morte tutti i maschi dell'Idumea),

(Porque seis meses habitó allí Joab, y todo Israel, hasta que hubo acabado á todo el sexo masculino en Edom;)

(For six months did Joab remain there with all Israel, until he had cut off every male in Edom:)
