11Darum sprach der Herr über Salomo: "Weil du dies im Sinn gehabt und meinen Bund und meine Vorschriften nicht eingehalten, die ich dir aufgetragen, darum entreiße ich dir nun das Königtum und gebe es deinem Knechte.

11Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

11Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, “Because this is done by you, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.
