Chiunque crede, che Gesù è il Cristo, egli è nato di Dio. E chiunque ama colui, che generò, ama ancora colui, che è nato di quello.

TODO aquel que cree que Jesús es el Cristo, es nacido de Dios: y cualquiera que ama al que ha engendrado, ama también al que es nacido de él.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.

Da questo conosciamo, che amiamo i figliuoli di Dio, se amiamo Dio, e osserviamo i suoi comandamenti.

En esto conocemos que amamos á los hijos de Dios, cuando amamos á Dios, y guardamos sus mandamientos.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.

Imperocché questo è amare Dio, che si osservino da noi i suoi comandamenti: e i suoi comandamenti non sono gravosi.

Porque este es el amor de Dios, que guardemos sus mandamientos; y sus mandamientos no son penosos.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

Imperocché tutto quello, che è nato di Dio, vince il mondo: e in questo sta la vittoria vincente il mondo, nella nostra fede.

Porque todo aquello que es nacido de Dios vence al mundo: y esta es la victoria que vence al mundo, nuestra fe.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

Chi è, che vince il mondo, se non colui, che crede, che Gesù è Figliuolo di Dio?

¿Quién es el que vence al mundo, sino el que cree que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios?

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Questi è quegli, che è venuto coll'acqua, e col sangue, Gesù Cristo: non coll'acqua solamente, ma coll'acqua, e col sangue. E lo Spirito è quello, che attesta, che Cristo è verità.

Este es Jesucristo, que vino por agua y sangre: no por agua solamente, sino por agua y sangre. Y el Espíritu es el que da testimonio: porque el Espíritu es la verdad.

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

Imperocché tre sono, che rendono testimonianza in cielo, il Padre, il Verbo, e lo Spirito Santo: e questi tre sono una sol cosa.

Porque tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo, el Padre, el Verbo, y el Espíritu Santo: y estos tres son uno.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

For there are three who testify:

E tre sono, che rendono testimonianza in terra, lo spirito, l'acqua, e il sangue, e questi tre sono una sola cosa.

Y tres son los que dan testimonio en la tierra, el Espíritu, y el agua, y la sangre: y estos tres concuerdan en uno.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three agree as one.

Se ammettiamo la testimonianza degli uomini, maggiore è la testimonianza di Dio: or questa è la testimonianza di Dio, la quale egli ha renduta al Figliuolo suo, la quale è maggiore.

Si recibimos el testimonio de los hombres, el testimonio de Dios es mayor; porque éste es el testimonio de Dios, que ha testificado de su Hijo.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is God’s testimony which he has testified concerning his Son.

Chi crede nel figliuolo di Dio, ha in se la testimonianza di Dio. Chi non crede al Figliuolo, fa lui bugiardo: perché non crede alla testimonianza renduta da Dio al Figliuol suo.

El que cree en el Hijo de Dios, tiene el testimonio en sí mismo: el que no cree á Dios, le ha hecho mentiroso; porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha testificado de su Hijo.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn’t believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.

E la testimonianza è questa, che Dio ci ha dato la vita eterna. E questa vita è nel Figliuolo di lui.

Y este es el testimonio: Que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna; y esta vida está en su Hijo.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

Chi ha il Figliuolo, ha la vita: chi non ha il Figliuolo, non ha la vita.

El que tiene al Hijo, tiene la vida: el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios, no tiene la vida.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.

Queste cose scrivo a voi: affinchè sappiate, che avete la vita eterna voi, che credete nel nome del Figliuolo di Dio.

Estas cosas he escrito á vosotros que creéis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios, para que sepáis que tenéis vida eterna, y para que creáis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

E questa è la fiducia, che abbiamo in lui: che qualunque cosa chiederemo secondo la volontà di lui, egli ci esaudisce.

Y esta es la confianza que tenemos en él, que si demandáremos alguna cosa conforme á su voluntad, él nos oye.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

E sappiamo, che ci esaudisce, qualunque cosa gli chieggiamo: lo sappiamo, perché abbiamo l'effetto delle richieste, che a lui facciamo.

Y si sabemos que él nos oye en cualquiera cosa que demandáremos, sabemos que tenemos las peticiones que le hubiéremos demandado.

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

Chi sa, che il proprio fratello pecca di peccato, che non mena a morte, chiegga, e sarà data la vita a quello, che pecca non a morte. Havvi un peccato a morte: non dico, che uno preghi per questo.

Si alguno viere cometer á su hermano pecado no de muerte, demandará, y se le dará vida; digo á los que pecan no de muerte. Hay pecado de muerte, por el cual yo no digo que ruegue.

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.

Ogni iniquità è peccato: ed havvi peccato, che mena a morte.

Toda maldad es pecado; mas hay pecado no de muerte.

All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

Sappiamo, che chiunque è nato di Dio, non pecca: ma la divina generazione lo custodisce, e il maligno nol tocca.

Sabemos que cualquiera que es nacido de Dios, no peca; mas el que es engendrado de Dios, se guarda á sí mismo, y el maligno no le toca.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him.

Sappiamo, che siamo da Dio: e tutto il mondo sta sotto il maligno.

Sabemos que somos de Dios, y todo el mundo está puesto en maldad.

And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

E sappiamo, che il Figliuolo di Dio è venuto, e ci ha dato mente, per conoscere il vero Dio, e per essere nel vero Figliuolo di lui. Questi è vero Dio, e vita eterna.

Empero sabemos que el Hijo de Dios es venido, y nos ha dado entendimiento para conocer al que es verdadero: y estamos en el verdadero, en su Hijo Jesucristo. Este es el verdadero Dios, y la vida eterna.

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

Figliuolini, guardatevi da' simolacri. Così sia. Esorta Eletta, e i figliuoli di lei ad esser costanti nella carità, e nella fede, affinchè non siano sedotti dagli eretici: ciò egli fa in poche parole, riserbandosi a trattare di altre cose, quando onderà da essi.

Hijitos, guardaos de los ídolos. Amén.
