Nosotros escuchamos un informe de que hay inmoralidad sexual entre ustedes, el tipo de inmoralidad que ni siquiera es permitida entre los gentiles. El informe es que uno de ustedes se está acostando con la esposa de su padre.
DE cierto se oye que hay entre vosotros fornicación, y tal fornicación cual ni aun se nombra entre los Gentiles; tanto que alguno tenga la mujer de su padre.
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.
It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.
¡Y ustedes son tan arrogantes! ¿En su lugar, no deberían ustedes lamentarse? Aquel que hizo esto tiene que ser expulsado de entre ustedes.
Y vosotros estáis hinchados, y no más bien tuvisteis duelo, para que fuese quitado de en medio de vosotros el que hizo tal obra.
And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
Pues, aunque yo estoy ausente en el cuerpo pero presente en el espíritu, yo ya he juzgado a aquel que hizo esto, justo como si yo estuviera allí.
Y ciertamente, como ausente con el cuerpo, mas presente en espíritu, ya como presente he juzgado al que esto así ha cometido:
For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

Cuando ustedes estén reunidos juntos en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesús, y mi espíritu esté allí también en el poder de nuestro Señor Jesús, yo ya he juzgado a esta persona.

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Límpiense ustedes mismos de la vieja levadura para que así ustedes sean nueva masa, para que ustedes sean pan sin levadura. Pues Cristo, nuestro cordero de Pascua, ha sido sacrificado.
Limpiad pues la vieja levadura, para que seáis nueva masa, como sois sin levadura: porque nuestra pascua, que es Cristo, fué sacrificada por nosotros.
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Yo les escribí a ustedes en mi carta que no se asocien con personas sexualmente inmorales.
Os he escrito por carta, que no os envolváis con los fornicarios:
I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
En ninguna manera quise decir las personas inmorales de este mundo, o los codiciosos, o los estafadores, o los idólatras, pues para alejarse de ellos ustedes necesitarían irse de este mundo.
No absolutamente con los fornicarios de este mundo, ó con los avaros, ó con los ladrones, ó con los idólatras; pues en tal caso os sería menester salir del mundo.
Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.
Sino que ahora yo les estoy escribiendo a ustedes que no se asocien con nadie quien llamándose hermano pero quien está viviendo en inmoralidad sexual, o quien es codicioso, o es un idólatra, o es verbalmente abusivo, o es un borracho, o un estafador. Ni tan siquiera coman una comida con tal persona.
Mas ahora os he escrito, que no os envolváis, es á saber, que si alguno llamándose hermano fuere fornicario, ó avaro, ó idólatra, ó maldiciente, ó borracho, ó ladrón, con el tal ni aun comáis.
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.
Pues, ¿cómo estoy yo involucrado en juzgar a aquellos que están fuera de la iglesia? En su lugar, ¿no deben ustedes juzgar al que está dentro de la iglesia?
Porque ¿qué me va á mí en juzgar á los que están fuera? ¿No juzgáis vosotros á los que están dentro?
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?
Pues Dios juzgará a todos aquellos que están afuera. "EXPULSEN A LA PERSONA MALVADA DE ENTRE USTEDES"
Porque á los que están fuera, Dios juzgará: quitad pues á ese malo de entre vosotros.
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”
