1Por toda parte estão falando que há imoralidade entre vocês, algo tão pecaminoso que nem mesmo os pagãos o fazem. É que vocês ainda conservam em sua igreja um homem que está vivendo em pecado com a mulher do seu próprio pai.
2E vocês ainda são tão presunçosos? Por que não estão se lamentando em tristeza e vergonha, e se apressando em expulsar esse homem da comunhão de vocês?
3Embora eu não esteja aí com vocês fisicamente, estou com vocês em espírito, e em nome do Senhor Jesus Cristo já condenei aquele que fez isso, como se aí estivesse.
4Quando vocês estiverem reunidos em nome do nosso Senhor Jesus, e eu também estarei aí em espírito, estando presente o poder de nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo,
5entreguem esse homem a Satanás, para que o corpo seja destruído, na esperança de que o seu espírito seja salvo no Dia do Senhor.
6Que coisa terrível o orgulho de vocês! Vocês não sabem que um pouco de fermento fermenta toda a massa?
7Livrem-se do fermento velho, para que vocês sejam massa nova e sem fermento, como vocês de fato são. Pois Cristo, o Cordeiro de Deus, foi sacrificado por nós.
8Portanto, celebremos a festa com esse Cordeiro, não com fermento velho, nem com o fermento da maldade e da imoralidade. Em seu lugar, festejemos com os pães sem fermento, com o pão puro da honra, da sinceridade e da verdade.
9Quando lhes escrevi por carta, pedi que vocês não se misturassem com pessoas imorais.
10Porém, quando eu disse isso, não estava falando de descrentes que vivem em pecados sexuais, ou são trapaceiros gananciosos, ou ladrões, ou adoradores de ídolos. Porque se assim fosse, vocês precisariam sair deste mundo.
11O que eu queria dizer era que vocês não devem fazer companhia a ninguém que se diz irmão em Cristo, porém está envolvido em pecados sexuais, ou é ganancioso, ou adora ídolos, ou é um bêbado, ou um ladrão. Nem ao menos comam com alguém assim.
12Não é de nossa responsabilidade julgar os de fora da igreja. Mas não há dúvida de que é nossa obrigação julgar e tratar com rigor aqueles que são membros da igreja e estão pecando nessas coisas.
13Só Deus é o juiz daqueles que estão de fora. Expulsem do meio de vocês esse homem imoral.

1DE cierto se oye que hay entre vosotros fornicación, y tal fornicación cual ni aun se nombra entre los Gentiles; tanto que alguno tenga la mujer de su padre.
2Y vosotros estáis hinchados, y no más bien tuvisteis duelo, para que fuese quitado de en medio de vosotros el que hizo tal obra.
3Y ciertamente, como ausente con el cuerpo, mas presente en espíritu, ya como presente he juzgado al que esto así ha cometido:
4En el nombre del Señor nuestro Jesucristo, juntados vosotros y mi espíritu, con la facultad de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
5El tal sea entregado á Satanás para muerte de la carne, porque el espíritu sea salvo en el día del Señor Jesús.
6No es buena vuestra jactancia. ¿No sabéis que un poco de levadura leuda toda la masa?
7Limpiad pues la vieja levadura, para que seáis nueva masa, como sois sin levadura: porque nuestra pascua, que es Cristo, fué sacrificada por nosotros.
8Así que hagamos fiesta, no en la vieja levadura, ni en la levadura de malicia y de maldad, sino en ázimos de sinceridad y de verdad.
9Os he escrito por carta, que no os envolváis con los fornicarios:
10No absolutamente con los fornicarios de este mundo, ó con los avaros, ó con los ladrones, ó con los idólatras; pues en tal caso os sería menester salir del mundo.
11Mas ahora os he escrito, que no os envolváis, es á saber, que si alguno llamándose hermano fuere fornicario, ó avaro, ó idólatra, ó maldiciente, ó borracho, ó ladrón, con el tal ni aun comáis.
12Porque ¿qué me va á mí en juzgar á los que están fuera? ¿No juzgáis vosotros á los que están dentro?
13Porque á los que están fuera, Dios juzgará: quitad pues á ese malo de entre vosotros.

1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.
2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
World English Bible
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.
2You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
3For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together with my spirit with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5you are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
7Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.
8Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
10yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.
11But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.
12For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?
13But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”
