1 Corintios 3

1Queridos irmãos, estou-lhes falando como se vocês ainda fossem apenas criancinhas, que não estão seguindo ao Senhor como deveriam, mas os seus próprios desejos; não posso falar-lhes como falaria a homens fortes, cheios do Espírito.
2Eu os tenho nutrido com leite, e não alimento sólido, pois vocês não podiam digerir nada mais forte. E mesmo agora vocês ainda precisam ser alimentados com leite.
3Vocês ainda são homens de primeira infância, controlados por seus próprios desejos e não pelos de Deus. Quando vocês sentem inveja uns dos outros e se dividem em grupos que guerreiam entre si, isso não é uma prova de que vocês ainda são crianças que só querem fazer a sua própria vontade?
4Pois se entre vocês há pessoas que dizem: “Eu sou de Paulo”, ou: “Eu sou de Apolo”, estão agindo como pessoas mundanas.
5Afinal de contas, quem é Apolo? Quem é Paulo? Ora, nós somos apenas servos de Deus. E com nossa ajuda é que vocês vieram a crer, conforme o ministério que o Senhor deu a cada um de nós.
6Meu trabalho foi o de plantar, o de Apolo foi regar, porém foi Deus, e não nós, quem fez crescer.
7De modo que a pessoa que planta ou rega não é muito importante, mas sim Deus é que é importante, porquanto é ele que realiza o crescimento.
8O que planta e o que rega têm o mesmo alvo, e cada um será recompensado pelo trabalho que cada um realizou.
9Pois somos apenas colaboradores de Deus. Vocês são lavoura de Deus e edifício de Deus.
10Deus, em sua graça, ensinou-me a ser um construtor sábio. Eu assentei o alicerce e outro construiu sobre ele. Entretanto, aquele que constrói sobre o alicerce precisa tomar muito cuidado como constrói.
11Porque ninguém pode colocar qualquer outro alicerce além do que já está posto, que é Jesus Cristo.
12No entanto, existem vários tipos de materiais que podem ser usados para construir sobre esse alicerce. Alguns usam ouro, prata e pedras preciosas; e outros constroem com madeira, com feno e até mesmo com palha!
13Está prestes a chegar um tempo de prova, no Dia de Cristo, para verificar que tipo de material cada construtor usou. O trabalho de cada um será provado pelo fogo, para que todos possam ver se ele conserva seu valor ou não, e o que verdadeiramente foi realizado.
14Então, todo construtor que edificou sobre o alicerce com materiais certos, cujo trabalho permanecer, esse receberá a sua recompensa.
15Entretanto, se o que alguém construiu queimar-se, ele terá um grande prejuízo. Ele mesmo será salvo, mas como um homem fugindo através duma barreira de chamas.
16Vocês não compreendem que todos juntos são a casa de Deus, e que o Espírito de Deus vive em vocês, em sua casa?
17Se alguém desonrar e estragar a casa de Deus, Deus o destruirá. Porque a casa de Deus é santa e limpa, e vocês são essa casa.
18Deixem de enganar-se a si mesmos. Se você pensa que é sábio, conforme os padrões deste mundo, faria melhor se pusesse tudo de lado e se tornasse um louco, para que se torne sábio.
19Porque a sabedoria deste mundo é loucura para Deus. Tal como está escrito: “Deus apanha os sábios na astúcia deles”.
20E também: “O Senhor conhece os pensamentos do homem, e sabe que eles não passam de ilusão!”
21Portanto, não tenham orgulho de seguir os homens sábios deste mundo. Porque Deus já lhes deu tudo quanto vocês precisam.
22Ele deu-lhes Paulo, Apolo e Pedro para ajudá-los. Ele deu-lhes o mundo inteiro para usarem, a vida, a morte, o presente e o futuro. Tudo é de vocês,
23e vocês são de Cristo, e Cristo de Deus.

1DE manera que yo, hermanos, no pude hablaros como á espirituales, sino como á carnales, como á niños en Cristo.
2Os dí á beber leche, y no vianda: porque aun no podíais, ni aun podéis ahora;
3Porque todavía sois carnales: pues habiendo entre vosotros celos, y contiendas, y disensiones, ¿no sois carnales, y andáis como hombres?
4Porque diciendo el uno: Yo cierto soy de Pablo; y el otro: Yo de Apolos; ¿no sois carnales?
5¿Qué pues es Pablo? ¿y qué es Apolos? Ministros por los cuales habéis creído; y eso según que á cada uno ha concedido el Señor.
6Yo planté, Apolos regó: mas Dios ha dado el crecimiento.
7Así que, ni el que planta es algo, ni el que riega; sino Dios, que da el crecimiento.
8Y el que planta y el que riega son una misma cosa; aunque cada uno recibirá su recompensa conforme á su labor.
9Porque nosotros, coadjutores somos de Dios; y vosotros labranza de Dios sois, edificio de Dios sois.
10Conforme á la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dada, yo como perito arquitecto puse el fundamento, y otro edifica encima: empero cada uno vea cómo sobreedifica.
11Porque nadie puede poner otro fundamento que el que está puesto, el cual es Jesucristo.
12Y si alguno edificare sobre este fundamento oro, plata, piedras preciosas, madera, heno, hojarasca;
13La obra de cada uno será manifestada: porque el día la declarará; porque por el fuego será manifestada; y la obra de cada uno cuál sea, el fuego hará la prueba.
14Si permaneciere la obra de alguno que sobreedificó, recibirá recompensa.
15Si la obra de alguno fuere quemada, será perdida: él empero será salvo, mas así como por fuego.
16¿No sabéis que sois templo de Dios, y que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros?
17Si alguno violare el templo de Dios, Dios destruirá al tal: porque el templo de Dios, el cual sois vosotros, santo es.
18Nadie se engañe á sí mismo: si alguno entre vosotros parece ser sabio en este siglo, hágase simple, para ser sabio.
19Porque la sabiduría de este mundo es necedad para con Dios; pues escrito está: El que prende á los sabios en la astucia de ellos.
20Y otra vez: El Señor conoce los pensamientos de los sabios, que son vanos.
21Así que, ninguno se gloríe en los hombres; porque todo es vuestro;
22Sea Pablo, sea Apolos, sea Cefas, sea el mundo, sea la vida, sea la muerte, sea lo presente, sea los por venir; todo es vuestro;
23Y vosotros de Cristo; y Cristo de Dios.

1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
4For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
6I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
10According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
21Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
22Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
23And ye are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.

1Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.
2I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,
3for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?
4For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you fleshly?
5Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him?
6I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase.
7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
8Now he who plants and he who waters are the same, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.
9For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
10According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
11For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw,
13each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
14If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
15If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.
16Don’t you know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?
17If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, which you are.
18Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He has taken the wise in their craftiness.”
20And again, “The Lord knows the reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.”
21Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours,
22whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All are yours,
23and you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.
