Milch gab ich euch zu trinken, nicht feste Speise. Ihr vermochtet es noch nicht, ach ihr vermöget es ja auch jetzt noch nicht.

Os dí á beber leche, y no vianda: porque aun no podíais, ni aun podéis ahora;

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

I fed you with milk, not with solid food, for you weren’t yet ready. Indeed, you aren’t ready even now,
