CUANTO á la colecta para los santos, haced vosotros también de la manera que ordené en las iglesias de Galacia.
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

El primer día de la semana, cada uno de vosotros ponga aparte para sí lo que sea de su agrado, reservándolo, no sea que cuando llegue yo, se hagan entonces las colectas.
Cada primer día de la semana cada uno de vosotros aparte en su casa, guardando lo que por la bondad de Dios pudiere; para que cuando yo llegare, no se hagan entonces colectas.
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
On the first day of every week, let each one of you save as he may prosper, that no collections are made when I come.
Y cuando yo haya llegado, a aquellos que vosotros tuviereis a bien, los enviaré con cartas, para que lleven vuestro don a Jerusalén;
Y cuando habré llegado, los que aprobareis por cartas, á éstos enviaré que lleven vuestro beneficio á Jerusalem.
And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.
y si conviene que vaya también yo, irán conmigo.

And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

Porque esta vez no quiero veros de paso, y espero permanecer algún tiempo entre vosotros, si el Señor lo permite.

Si Timoteo llega, mirad que esté entre vosotros sin timidez, ya que él hace la obra del Señor lo mismo que yo.

Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

Que nadie, pues, le menosprecie; despedidle en paz para que venga a mí, porque le estoy esperando con los hermanos.
Por tanto, nadie le tenga en poco; antes, llevadlo en paz, para que venga á mí: porque lo espero con los hermanos.
Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
Therefore let no one despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers.
En cuanto al hermano Apolo, mucho le encarecí que fuese a vosotros con los hermanos, mas no tuvo voluntad alguna de ir ahora; irá cuando tenga oportunidad.
Acerca del hermano Apolos, mucho le he rogado que fuese á vosotros con los hermanos; mas en ninguna manera tuvo voluntad de ir por ahora; pero irá cuando tuviere oportunidad.
As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
Now concerning Apollos the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity.

I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
Now I beg you, brothers—you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints—
que también vosotros os pongáis a disposición de ellos y de todo el que colabore y se afane.
Que vosotros os sujetéis á los tales, y á todos los que ayudan y trabajan.
That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.
Me regocijo de la llegada de Estéfanas, Fortunato y Acaico; porque ellos han suplido vuestra falta,
