1 Corintios 15

Ahora yo les recuerdo a ustedes, hermanos, el evangelio que yo les proclamé, el cual ustedes recibieron y sobre el cual ustedes se mantienen.

ADEMÁS os declaro, hermanos, el evangelio que os he predicado, el cual también recibisteis, en el cual también perseveráis;

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand,

Es por este evangelio que ustedes están siendo salvos, si ustedes se sostienen firmemente a la palabra que yo les prediqué a ustedes, a menos que ustedes hayan creído en vano.

Por el cual asimismo, si retenéis la palabra que os he predicado, sois salvos, si no creísteis en vano.

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

Pues yo les entregué a ustedes como de importancia primordial lo que yo también recibí: que Cristo murió por nuestros pecados según las Escrituras,

Porque primeramente os he enseñado lo que asimismo recibí: Que Cristo fué muerto por nuestros pecados, conforme á las Escrituras;

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

que Él fue enterrado y que fue levantado al tercer día de acuerdo a las Escrituras.

Y que fué sepultado, y que resucitó al tercer día, conforme á las Escrituras;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Y que Él se le apareció a Cefas, luego a los doce.

Y que apareció á Cefas, y después á los doce.

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

Luego se le apareció a más de quinientos hermanos a la vez. La mayoría de ellos todavía están vivos, pero algunos se han dormido.

Después apareció á más de quinientos hermanos juntos; de los cuales muchos viven aún, y otros son muertos.

After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Then he appeared to over five hundred brothers at once, most of whom remain until now, but some have also fallen asleep.

Luego Él se le apareció a Santiago, luego a todos los apóstoles.

Después apareció á Jacobo; después á todos los apóstoles.

After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,

Por último, Él se me apareció, como si fuera un niño nacido en el tiempo equivocado.

Y el postrero de todos, como á un abortivo, me apareció á mí.

And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

and last of all, as to the child born at the wrong time, he appeared to me also.

Pues yo soy el menor de los apóstoles. Yo soy indigno de ser llamado un apóstol porque yo perseguí la iglesia de Dios.

Porque yo soy el más pequeño de los apóstoles, que no soy digno de ser llamado apóstol, porque perseguí la iglesia de Dios.

For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

For I am the least of the apostles, who is not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the assembly of God.

Pero por la gracia de Dios yo soy lo que soy, y Su gracia en mí no fue en vano. En cambio, yo trabajé más fuerte que todos ellos. Sin embargo no fui yo, sino la gracia de Dios que está conmigo.

Empero por la gracia de Dios soy lo que soy: y su gracia no ha sido en vano para conmigo; antes he trabajado más que todos ellos: pero no yo, sino la gracia de Dios que fué conmigo.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was given to me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Por lo tanto, sea yo, o ellos, así nosotros predicamos y así ustedes creyeron.

Porque, ó sea yo ó sean ellos, así predicamos, y así habéis creído.

Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

Whether then it is I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.

Ahora si Cristo es proclamado como levantado de los muertos, ¿cómo pueden algunos de ustedes decir que no hay resurrección de los muertos?

Y si Cristo es predicado que resucitó de los muertos, ¿cómo dicen algunos entre vosotros que no hay resurrección de muertos?

Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Pero si no hay resurrección de los muertos, entonces ni siquiera Cristo ha sido levantado.

Porque si no hay resurrección de muertos, Cristo tampoco resucitó:

But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

But if there is no resurrection of the dead, neither has Christ been raised.

Y si Cristo no ha sido levantado, entonces nuestra predicación es en vano y su fe también es en vano.

Y si Cristo no resucitó, vana es entonces nuestra predicación, vana es también vuestra fe.

And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith also is in vain.

Y nosotros somos hallados siendo falsos testigos acerca de Dios, porque nosotros testificamos contra Dios, diciendo que Él levantó a Cristo, cuando Él no lo hizo.

Y aun somos hallados falsos testigos de Dios; porque hemos testificado de Dios que él haya levantado á Cristo; al cual no levantó, si en verdad los muertos no resucitan.

Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

Yes, we are also found false witnesses of God, because we testified about God that he raised up Christ, whom he didn’t raise up if it is true that the dead are not raised.

Porque si los muertos no son levantados, ni siquiera Cristo ha sido levantado.

Porque si los muertos no resucitan, tampoco Cristo resucitó:

For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

For if the dead aren’t raised, neither has Christ been raised.

Y si Cristo no ha sido levantado, la fe de ustedes es en vano y ustedes todavía están en sus pecados.

Y si Cristo no resucitó, vuestra fe es vana; aun estáis en vuestros pecados.

And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

If Christ has not been raised, your faith is vain; you are still in your sins.

Entonces aquellos quienes han muerto en Cristo también han perecido.

Entonces también los que durmieron en Cristo son perdidos.

Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Then they also who are fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

Si solamente en esta vida nosotros tenemos confianza por el futuro en Cristo, de toda las personas, nosotros somos los más dignos de lástima.

Si en esta vida solamente esperamos en Cristo, los más miserables somos de todos los hombres.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.

Pero ahora Cristo ha sido levantado de los muertos, las primicias de aquellos que murieron.

Mas ahora Cristo ha resucitado de los muertos; primicias de los que durmieron es hecho.

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

But now Christ has been raised from the dead. He became the first fruit of those who are asleep.

Pues ya que la muerte vino por un hombre, por un hombre también vino la resurrección de los muertos.

Porque por cuanto la muerte entró por un hombre, también por un hombre la resurrección de los muertos.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man.

Pues como en Adán todos mueren, así también en Cristo todos serán hechos vivos.

Porque así como en Adam todos mueren, así también en Cristo todos serán vivificados.

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

Pero cada uno en su propio orden: Cristo, las primicias; y luego aquellos que pertenecen a Cristo serán hechos vivos en Su venida.

Mas cada uno en su orden: Cristo las primicias; luego los que son de Cristo, en su venida.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then those who are Christ’s at his coming.

Entonces será el fin, cuando Cristo entregará el reino a Dios el Padre. Esto es luego de Él abolir toda regla, toda autoridad y poder.

Luego el fin; cuando entregará el reino á Dios y al Padre, cuando habrá quitado todo imperio, y toda potencia y potestad.

Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Then the end comes, when he will deliver up the Kingdom to God the Father, when he will have abolished all rule and all authority and power.

Porque Él tiene que reinar hasta que Él haya puesto a todos sus enemigos bajo Sus pies.

Porque es menester que él reine, hasta poner á todos sus enemigos debajo de sus pies.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

El último enemigo en ser destruido es la muerte.

Y el postrer enemigo que será deshecho, será la muerte.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

Pues: "ÉL HA PUESTO TODO BAJO SUS PIES." Pero cuando dice: "ÉL HA PUESTO TODO," es claro que esto no incluye a Aquél que puso todo en sujeción a Sí mismo.

Porque todas las cosas sujetó debajo de sus pies. Y cuando dice: Todas las cosas son sujetadas á él, claro está exceptuado aquel que sujetó á él todas las cosas.

For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

For, “He put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when he says, “All things are put in subjection”, it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.

Cuando todas las cosas sean sujetas a Él, entonces el Hijo mismo se sujetará a Aquel que sujetó todo a Él. Esto sucederá para que Dios el Padre pueda ser todo en todo.

Mas luego que todas las cosas le fueren sujetas, entonces también el mismo Hijo se sujetará al que le sujetó á él todas las cosas, para que Dios sea todas las cosas en todos.

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

When all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will also himself be subjected to him who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.

Si no, ¿qué harán aquellos que son bautizados por los muertos? Si los muertos no son levantados del todo, ¿por qué entonces se bautizan por ellos?

De otro modo, ¿qué harán los que se bautizan por los muertos, si en ninguna manera los muertos resucitan? ¿Por qué pues se bautizan por los muertos?

Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

Or else what will they do who are baptized for the dead? If the dead aren’t raised at all, why then are they baptized for the dead?

¿Y por qué estamos nosotros en peligro a toda hora?

¿Y por qué nosotros peligramos á toda hora?

And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

Why do we also stand in jeopardy every hour?

Yo muero diariamente. Esto es lo que yo declaro al jactarme en ustedes, hermanos, lo cual he hecho en Cristo Jesús nuestro Señor.

Sí, por la gloria que en orden á vosotros tengo en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro, cada día muero.

I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

¿Qué gano yo, desde el punto de vista humano, al yo pelear con bestias en Éfeso, si los muertos no son levantados? "Comamos y bebamos, pues mañana nosotros moriremos."

Si como hombre batallé en Efeso contra las bestias, ¿qué me aprovecha? Si los muertos no resucitan, comamos y bebamos, que mañana moriremos.

If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

If I fought with animals at Ephesus for human purposes, what does it profit me? If the dead are not raised, then “let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”

No sean engañados: "La mala compañía corrompe la buena moral."

No erréis: las malas conversaciones corrompen las buenas costumbres.

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

Don’t be deceived! “Evil companionships corrupt good morals.”

¡Sean sobrios! ¡Vivan rectamente! No sigan pecando. Pues algunos de ustedes no tienen conocimiento de Dios. Yo les digo esto para su vergüenza.

Velad debidamente, y no pequéis; porque algunos no conocen á Dios: para vergüenza vuestra hablo.

Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Wake up righteously and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

Pero alguien dirá: "¿Cómo son los muertos levantados? ¿Y con qué tipo de cuerpo ellos vendrán?"

Mas dirá alguno: ¿Cómo resucitarán los muertos? ¿Con qué cuerpo vendrán?

But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

But someone will say, “How are the dead raised?” and, “With what kind of body do they come?”

¡Ustede son tan ignorantes! Lo que ustedes siembran no comenzará a crecer a menos que muera.

Necio, lo que tú siembras no se vivifica, si no muriere antes.

Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

You foolish one, that which you yourself sow is not made alive unless it dies.

Y lo que ustedes siembran no es el cuerpo que será, sino la simple semilla. Ésta puede llegar a convertirse en trigo o algo diferente.

Y lo que siembras, no siembras el cuerpo que ha de salir, sino el grano desnudo, acaso de trigo, ó de otro grano:

And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

That which you sow, you don’t sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, maybe of wheat, or of some other kind.

Pero Dios le dará un cuerpo como Él escoja, y a cada semilla su propio cuerpo.

Mas Dios le da el cuerpo como quiso, y á cada simiente su propio cuerpo.

But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

But God gives it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own.

No toda la carne es igual. Sino hay una carne de seres humanos y otra carne para los animales, y otra carne para las aves, y otra para los peces.

Toda carne no es la misma carne; mas una carne ciertamente es la de los hombres, y otra carne la de los animales, y otra la de los peces, y otra la de las aves.

All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.

Hay también cuerpos celestiales y cuerpos terrenales. Pero la gloria del cuerpo celestial es un tipo y la gloria del terrenal es otra.

Y cuerpos hay celestiales, y cuerpos terrestres; mas ciertamente una es la gloria de los celestiales, y otra la de los terrestres.

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial differs from that of the terrestrial.

Hay una gloria del sol, y otra gloria de la luna, y otra gloria de las estrellas. Pues una estrella difiere de otra estrella en gloria.

Otra es la gloria del sol, y otra la gloria de la luna, y otra la gloria de las estrellas: porque una estrella es diferente de otra en gloria.

There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.

Así también es la resurrección de los muertos. Lo que se siembra es perecedero, y lo que es levantado es imperecedero.

Así también es la resurrección de los muertos. Se siembra en corrupción, se levantará en incorrupción;

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown perishable; it is raised imperishable.

Es sembrado en deshonrra; es levantado en gloria. Es sembrado en debilidad; es levantado en poder.

Se siembra en vergüenza, se levantará con gloria; se siembra en flaqueza, se levantará con potencia;

It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.

Es sembrado un cuerpo natural; es levantado un cuerpo espiritual. Si hay un cuerpo natural, hay también un cuerpo espiritual.

Se siembra cuerpo animal, resucitará espiritual cuerpo. Hay cuerpo animal, y hay cuerpo espiritual.

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body and there is also a spiritual body.

Así también está escrito: "EL PRIMER HOMBRE ADÁN VINO A SER UN ALMA VIVIENTE." El último Adán vino a ser un espíritu dador de vida.

Así también está escrito: Fué hecho el primer hombre Adam en ánima viviente; el postrer Adam en espíritu vivificante.

And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

So also it is written, “The first man Adam became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Pero lo espiritual no vino primero sino lo natural, y luego lo espiritual.

Mas lo espiritual no es primero, sino lo animal; luego lo espiritual.

Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

However, that which is spiritual isn’t first, but that which is natural, then that which is spiritual.

El primer hombre es de la tierra, hecho de polvo. El segundo Hombre es del cielo.

El primer hombre, es de la tierra, terreno: el segundo hombre, que es el Señor, es del cielo.

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

The first man is of the earth, made of dust. The second man is the Lord from heaven.

Así como aquel hecho de polvo es, así también son aquellos que son hechos del polvo. Y así como el Hombre del cielo es, así también son aquellos que son del cielo.

Cual el terreno, tales también los terrenos; y cual el celestial, tales también los celestiales.

As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

As is the one made of dust, such are those who are also made of dust; and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

Así como nosotros hemos llevado la imagen del hombre de polvo, también llevaremos la imagen del Hombre del cielo.

Y como trajimos la imagen del terreno, traeremos también la imagen del celestial.

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

As we have borne the image of those made of dust, let’s also bear the image of the heavenly.

Ahora esto yo digo, hermanos, que la carne y sangre no puede heredar el reino de Dios. Ni tampoco lo perecedero hereda lo imperecedero.

Esto empero digo, hermanos: que la carne y la sangre no pueden heredar el reino de Dios; ni la corrupción hereda la incorrupción.

Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Now I say this, brothers, that flesh and blood can’t inherit God’s Kingdom; neither does the perishable inherit imperishable.

¡Miren! Les digo una verdad secreta: Nosotros no todos moriremos, pero todos seremos cambiados.

He aquí, os digo un misterio: Todos ciertamente no dormiremos, mas todos seremos transformados,

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

Behold, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,

Nosotros seremos cambiados en un momento, en el parpadeo de un ojo, a la última trompeta. Pues la trompeta sonará y los muertos serán levantados imperecederos, y nosotros seremos cambiados.

En un momento, en un abrir de ojo, á la final trompeta; porque será tocada la trompeta, y los muertos serán levantados sin corrupción, y nosotros seremos transformados.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

Pues este cuerpo perecedero tiene que ponerse lo que es imperecedero, y este cuerpo mortal tiene que ponerse la inmortalidad.

Porque es menester que esto corruptible sea vestido de incorrupción, y esto mortal sea vestido de inmortalidad.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

For this perishable body must become imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Pero cuando este cuerpo perecedero se haya puesto lo que es imperecedero y este cuerpo mortal se haya puesto la inmortalidad, entonces se cumplirá el dicho que está escrito: "LA MUERTE ES TRAGADA EN VICTORIA."

Y cuando esto corruptible fuere vestido de incorrupción, y esto mortal fuere vestido de inmortalidad, entonces se efectuará la palabra que está escrita: Sorbida es la muerte con victoria.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

But when this perishable body will have become imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then what is written will happen: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

"¿MUERTE, DONDE ESTÁ TU VICTORIA? ¿MUERTE, DONDE ESTÁ TU AGUIJÓN?"

¿Dónde está, oh muerte, tu aguijón? ¿dónde, oh sepulcro, tu victoria?

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

“Death, where is your sting? Hades, where is your victory?”

El aguijón de la muerte es el pecado, y el poder del pecado es la Ley.

Ya que el aguijón de la muerte es el pecado, y la potencia del pecado, la ley.

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.

¡Pero gracias a Dios, quien nos da a nosotros la victoria por medio de nuestro Señor Jesucristo!

Mas á Dios gracias, que nos da la victoria por el Señor nuestro Jesucristo.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Por lo tanto, mis queridos hermanos, sean firmes e inmovibles. Siempre abunden en la obra del Señor, porque ustedes saben que su trabajo en el Señor no es vano.

Así que, hermanos míos amados, estad firmes y constantes, creciendo en la obra del Señor siempre, sabiendo que vuestro trabajo en el Señor no es vano.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
