Et en effet, si une trompette rend un son indistinct, qui est-ce qui se prépare au combat ?

Y si la trompeta diere sonido incierto, ¿quién se apercibirá á la batalla?

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

For if the trumpet gave an uncertain sound, who would prepare himself for war?
