Non è ambiziosa, non cerca il proprio interesse, non si muove ad ira, non pensa male,
No es injuriosa, no busca lo suyo, no se irrita, no piensa el mal;
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

La carità mai vien meno: ma le profezie passeranno, e cesseranno le lingue, e la scienza sarà abolita.
La caridad nunca deja de ser: mas las profecías se han de acabar, y cesarán las lenguas, y la ciencia ha de ser quitada;
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.
Imperocché imperfettamente conosciamo, e imperfettamente profetiamo.
Porque en parte conocemos, y en parte profetizamos;
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

Venuto poi che sia quello, che è perfetto, sarà rimosso quello, che è imperfetto.
Mas cuando venga lo que es perfecto, entonces lo que es en parte será quitado.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

Allorché io ero bambino, parlava da bambino, aveva gusti da bambino, pensava da bambino. Divenuto poi uomo, ho mandato via quelle cose, che erano da bambino.
Cuando yo era niño, hablaba como niño, pensaba como niño, juzgaba como niño; mas cuando ya fuí hombre hecho, dejé lo que era de niño.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Veggiamo adesso a traverso di uno specchio, per enimma: allora poi faccia a faccia. Ora conosco in parte: allora poi conoscerò in quel modo stesso, ond'io son pur conosciuto.
Ahora vemos por espejo, en obscuridad; mas entonces veremos cara á cara: ahora conozco en parte; mas entonces conoceré como soy conocido.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Ora poi resta la fede, la speranza, la carità, queste tre cose: la più grande però di queste è la carità. Che il dono delle lingue è inferiore al dono di profezia, ed è anzi inutile, ove non siavi chi interpreti: dà le regole per fare ordinato uso di tali doni, e vuole che le donne nella Chiesa si tacciano.
Y ahora permanecen la fe, la esperanza, y la caridad, estas tres: empero la mayor de ellas es la caridad.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
But now faith, hope, and love remain—these three. The greatest of these is love.
