3Agora, porém, vocês estão encontrando pessoas que alegam que transmitem mensagens da parte do Espírito de Deus. Como é que vocês podem saber se elas são realmente inspiradas por Deus ou não? Eis o critério: Ninguém, falando pelo poder do Espírito de Deus, pode amaldiçoar Jesus, e ninguém pode dizer “Jesus é Senhor” a não ser que seja pelo Espírito Santo.

3Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

3Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit.
