1 Corintios 11

Sean imitadores de mí, así como yo soy imitador de Cristo.

SED imitadores de mí, así como yo de Cristo.

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Be imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Ahora yo les alabo porque ustedes se acuerdan de mí en todo. Yo les alabo porque ustedes se adhieren bien a las tradiciones tal como yo se las entregué a ustedes.

Y os alabo, hermanos, que en todo os acordáis de mí, y retenéis las instrucciones mías, de la manera que os enseñé.

Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.

Ahora yo quiero que ustedes entiendan que Cristo es la cabeza de todo hombre, que un hombre es la cabeza de una mujer, y que Dios es la cabeza de Cristo.

Mas quiero que sepáis, que Cristo es la cabeza de todo varón; y el varón es la cabeza de la mujer; y Dios la cabeza de Cristo.

But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Cualquier hombre que ora o profetiza con su cabeza cubierta deshonra su cabeza.

Todo varón que ora ó profetiza cubierta la cabeza, afrenta su cabeza.

Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.

Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.

Pero cualquier mujer que ora o profetiza con su cabeza descubierta deshonra su cabeza. Porque es una y la misma cosa como si su cabeza estuviera rapada.

Mas toda mujer que ora ó profetiza no cubierta su cabeza, afrenta su cabeza; porque lo mismo es que si se rayese.

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.

Pues si una mujer no cubre su cabeza, ella debe cortar su pelo corto. Si es vergonzoso para una mujer cortarse el cabello o raparse su cabeza, que ella se cubra la cabeza.

Porque si la mujer no se cubre, trasquílese también: y si es deshonesto á la mujer trasquilarse ó raerse, cúbrase.

For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.

For if a woman is not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or be shaved, let her be covered.

Pues un hombre no debe tener su cabeza cubierta, ya que es la imagen y gloria de Dios. Pero la mujer es la gloria del hombre.

Porque el varón no ha de cubrir la cabeza, porque es imagen y gloria de Dios: mas la mujer es gloria del varón.

For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.

Porque el hombre no fue hecho de la mujer. Por lo contrario, la mujer fue hecha del hombre.

Porque el varón no es de la mujer, sino la mujer del varón.

For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

For man is not from woman, but woman from man;

Porque tampoco fue el hombre creado para la mujer. Por el contrario, la mujer fue creada para el hombre.

Porque tampoco el varón fué criado por causa de la mujer, sino la mujer por causa del varón.

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

for man wasn’t created for the woman, but woman for the man.

Por esto es que la mujer debe tener un símbolo de autoridad sobre su cabeza, debido a los ángeles.

Por lo cual, la mujer debe tener señal de potestad sobre su cabeza, por causa de los ángeles.

For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

For this cause the woman ought to have authority over her own head, because of the angels.

Sin embargo, en el Señor, la mujer no es independiente del hombre, ni el hombre es independiente de la mujer.

Mas ni el varón sin la mujer, ni la mujer sin el varón, en el Señor.

Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

Nevertheless, neither is the woman independent of the man, nor the man independent of the woman, in the Lord.

Pues así como la mujer viene del hombre, así el hombre viene de la mujer. Y todas las cosas vienen de Dios.

Porque como la mujer es del varón, así también el varón es por la mujer: empero todo de Dios.

For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.

For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.

Juzguen por ustedes mismos: ¿Es apropiado que una mujer le ore a Dios con su cabeza descubierta?

Juzgad vosotros mismos: ¿es honesto orar la mujer á Dios no cubierta?

Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?

¿La misma naturaleza no les enseña a ustedes que si un hombre tiene el cabello largo, es una desgracia para él?

La misma naturaleza ¿no os enseña que al hombre sea deshonesto criar cabello?

Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Doesn’t even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?

¿La naturaleza no les enseña a ustedes que si una mujer tiene el cabello largo, ése es su gloria? Porque su cabello se le dio para cubrirse.

Por el contrario, á la mujer criar el cabello le es honroso; porque en lugar de velo le es dado el cabello.

But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.

Pero si alguien quiere discutir acerca de esto, nosotros no tenemos ninguna otra práctica, ni las iglesias de Dios.

Con todo eso, si alguno parece ser contencioso, nosotros no tenemos tal costumbre, ni las iglesias de Dios.

But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God’s assemblies.

Pero en las siguientes instrucciones, yo no los alabo. Pues cuando ustedes se reúnen, no es por lo mejor, sino por lo peor.

Esto empero os denuncio, que no alabo, que no por mejor sino por peor os juntáis.

Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.

But in giving you this command I don’t praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse.

Pues en primer lugar, yo escucho que cuando ustedes se reúnen en la iglesia, hay divisiones entre ustedes, y en parte yo lo creo.

Porque lo primero, cuando os juntáis en la iglesia, oigo que hay entre vosotros disensiones; y en parte lo creo.

For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.

Pues debe haber tambien facciones entre ustedes, para que aquellos quienes son aprobados sean reconocidos entre ustedes.

Porque preciso es que haya entre vosotros aun herejías, para que los que son probados se manifiesten entre vosotros.

For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.

Pues cuando ustedes se reúnen, no es la Cena del Señor la que comen.

Cuando pues os juntáis en uno, esto no es comer la cena del Señor:

When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.

When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat.

Cuando ustedes comen, cada uno come su propia comida antes que los otros tengan la suya. Uno tiene hambre y otro se embriaga.

Porque cada uno toma antes para comer su propia cena; y el uno tiene hambre, y el otro está embriagado.

For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.

For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken.

¿No tienen ustedes casas para comer y beber? ¿Desprecian ustedes la iglesia de Dios y humillan a aquellos que no tienen nada? ¿Qué debo decirle a ustedes? ¿Los debo alabar? ¡Yo no los alabaré por esto!

Pues qué, ¿no tenéis casas en que comáis y bebáis? ¿ó menospreciáis la iglesia de Dios, y avergonzáis á los que no tienen? ¿Qué os diré? ¿os alabaré? En esto no os alabo.

What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.

What, don’t you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God’s assembly and put them to shame who don’t have enough? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don’t praise you.

Porque yo recibí del Señor lo que también les pasé a ustedes, que el Señor Jesús, en la noche que fue traicionado, tomó pan.

Porque yo recibí del Señor lo que también os he enseñado: Que el Señor Jesús, la noche que fué entregado, tomó pan;

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.

Después de haber dado gracias, Él lo partió y dijo: "Esto es mi cuerpo, que es para ustedes. Hagan esto para recordarme."

Y habiendo dado gracias, lo partió, y dijo: Tomad, comed: esto es mi cuerpo que por vosotros es partido: haced esto en memoria de mí.

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

When he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.”

En la misma manera Él tomó la copa después de cenar, y dijo: "Esta copa es el nuevo pacto en Mi sangre. Hagan esto cuantas veces ustedes la beban, para recordarme."

Asimismo tomó también la copa, después de haber cenado, diciendo: Esta copa es el nuevo pacto en mi sangre: haced esto todas las veces que bebiereis, en memoria de mí.

After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

In the same way he also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me.”

Porque cada vez que coman este pan y beban esta copa, ustedes proclaman la muerte del Señor hasta que Él venga.

Porque todas las veces que comiereis este pan, y bebiereis esta copa, la muerte del Señor anunciáis hasta que venga.

For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.

Cualquiera, por lo tanto, que coma el pan o beba la copa del Señor de una manera indigna, será culpable del cuerpo y la sangre del Señor.

De manera que, cualquiera que comiere este pan ó bebiere esta copa del Señor indignamente, será culpado del cuerpo y de la sangre del Señor.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in a way unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

Permítan que la persona se examine a sí misma primero, y de esta manera permítanle comer del pan y beber de la copa.

Por tanto, pruébese cada uno á sí mismo, y coma así de aquel pan, y beba de aquella copa.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

Pues quien come y bebe sin discernir el cuerpo, come y bebe juicio para sí mismo.

Porque el que come y bebe indignamente, juicio come y bebe para sí, no discerniendo el cuerpo del Señor.

For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.

For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.

Por esto es que muchos entre ustedes están débiles y enfermos, y algunos de ustedes duermen.

Por lo cual hay muchos enfermos y debilitados entre vosotros; y muchos duermen.

For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.

Pero si nosotros nos examinamos a nosotros mismos, nosotros no seremos juzgados.

Que si nos examinásemos á nosotros mismos, cierto no seríamos juzgados.

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged.

Pero cuando somos juzgados por el Señor, somos disciplinados, de manera que no seamos condenados juntos con el mundo.

Mas siendo juzgados, somos castigados del Señor, para que no seamos condenados con el mundo.

But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

Por lo tanto, mis hermanos, cuando se reúnan para comer, esperen el uno por el otro.

Así, que, hermanos míos, cuando os juntáis á comer, esperaos unos á otros.

Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.

Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

Si alguno tiene hambre, que coma en su casa, para que cuando se reúnan ésto no será para juicio. Y acerca de las otras cosas que ustedes escribieron, yo les daré direcciones cuando vaya.

Si alguno tuviere hambre, coma en su casa, porque no os juntéis para juicio. Las demás cosas ordenaré cuando llegare.

And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.

But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
