Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.

Or voglio, che voi sappiate, come capo di ogni uomo è Cristo: capo poi della donna è l'uomo: e capo di Cristo è Dio.
Mas quiero que sepáis, que Cristo es la cabeza de todo varón; y el varón es la cabeza de la mujer; y Dios la cabeza de Cristo.
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Ogni uomo, che ora, o profeta col capo coperto, fa disonore al suo capo.
Todo varón que ora ó profetiza cubierta la cabeza, afrenta su cabeza.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
E qualunque donna, che ori, o profetizzi a capo scoperto, fa disonore al suo capo: imperocché è lo stesso, che se fosse rasa.
Mas toda mujer que ora ó profetiza no cubierta su cabeza, afrenta su cabeza; porque lo mismo es que si se rayese.
But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.
Conciossiachè se la donna non porta il velo, si tosi eziandio. Che se è indecente per la donna l'esser tosata, o rasa, veli la sua testa.
Porque si la mujer no se cubre, trasquílese también: y si es deshonesto á la mujer trasquilarse ó raerse, cúbrase.
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
For if a woman is not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or be shaved, let her be covered.
L'uomo poi non dee velar la sua testa: perché è immagine, e gloria di Dio, ma la donna è gloria dell'uomo.
Porque el varón no ha de cubrir la cabeza, porque es imagen y gloria de Dios: mas la mujer es gloria del varón.
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God, but the woman is the glory of the man.
Imperocché non è dalla donna l'uomo, ma dall'uomo la donna.

Conciossiachè non è stato creato l'uomo per la donna, ma la donna per l'uomo.
Porque tampoco el varón fué criado por causa de la mujer, sino la mujer por causa del varón.
Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
for man wasn’t created for the woman, but woman for the man.
Per questo dee la donna avere sopra il capo la potestà per riguardo degli Angeli.
Por lo cual, la mujer debe tener señal de potestad sobre su cabeza, por causa de los ángeles.
For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
For this cause the woman ought to have authority over her own head, because of the angels.
Per altro nè l'uomo senza la Donna, nè la donna senza l'uomo, secondo il Signore.
Mas ni el varón sin la mujer, ni la mujer sin el varón, en el Señor.
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

Imperocché siccome la donna dall'uomo, così l'uomo per mezzo della donna: tutto poi da Dio.
Porque como la mujer es del varón, así también el varón es por la mujer: empero todo de Dios.
For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
For as woman came from man, so a man also comes through a woman; but all things are from God.
Siate giudici voi medesimi: è egli decente che la donna faccia orazione a Dio senza velo?
Juzgad vosotros mismos: ¿es honesto orar la mujer á Dios no cubierta?
Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
Judge for yourselves. Is it appropriate that a woman pray to God unveiled?
E non v'insegna la stessa natura, che è disonorevol per l'uomo il nudrire la chioma?
La misma naturaleza ¿no os enseña que al hombre sea deshonesto criar cabello?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
Doesn’t even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?
Per la donna poi è onore il nudrire la chioma: imperocché i capelli le sono stati dati per velo?
Por el contrario, á la mujer criar el cabello le es honroso; porque en lugar de velo le es dado el cabello.
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her, for her hair is given to her for a covering.
Che se taluno mostra di amar le contese: noi non abbiamo tale uso, né la Chiesa di Dio.
Con todo eso, si alguno parece ser contencioso, nosotros no tenemos tal costumbre, ni las iglesias de Dios.
But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
But if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither do God’s assemblies.
Di questo poi vi avverto: non per lodarvi, che vi radunate non con profitto, ma con iscapito.
Esto empero os denuncio, que no alabo, que no por mejor sino por peor os juntáis.
Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
But in giving you this command I don’t praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse.
Primamente adunque adunandovi voi nella Chiesa, sento esservi scissure tra di voi, e in parte lo credo.
Porque lo primero, cuando os juntáis en la iglesia, oigo que hay entre vosotros disensiones; y en parte lo creo.
For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you, and I partly believe it.
Imperocché fa di mestieri, che sianvi anche delle eresie, affinchè si palesino que', che tra voi sono di buona lega.
Porque preciso es que haya entre vosotros aun herejías, para que los que son probados se manifiesten entre vosotros.
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
For there also must be factions among you, that those who are approved may be revealed among you.
Quando adunque vi radunate insieme, non è già un mangiare la cena del Signore.
Cuando pues os juntáis en uno, esto no es comer la cena del Señor:
When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord’s supper.
When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord’s supper that you eat.
Imperocché ciascheduno anticipamente prende a mangiar la sua cena. E uno patisce la fame, un altro poi è ubbriaco.
Porque cada uno toma antes para comer su propia cena; y el uno tiene hambre, y el otro está embriagado.
For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken.
Ma e non avete voi case per mangiare, e bere? Ovvero dispregiate la Chiesa di Dio, e fate arrossire quegli, che non han nulla? Che dirovvi? Vi loderò? In questo io non vi lodo.
Pues qué, ¿no tenéis casas en que comáis y bebáis? ¿ó menospreciáis la iglesia de Dios, y avergonzáis á los que no tienen? ¿Qué os diré? ¿os alabaré? En esto no os alabo.
What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
What, don’t you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God’s assembly and put them to shame who don’t have enough? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don’t praise you.
Imperocché io ho appreso dal Signore quello, che ho anche insegnato a voi, che il Signore Gesù in quella notte, in cui era tradito, prese il pane,
Porque yo recibí del Señor lo que también os he enseñado: Que el Señor Jesús, la noche que fué entregado, tomó pan;
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread.
E rendute le grazie, lo spezzò, e disse: prendete, e mangiate: questo è il corpo mio, il quale sarà dato (a morte) per voi: fate questo in memoria di me.
Y habiendo dado gracias, lo partió, y dijo: Tomad, comed: esto es mi cuerpo que por vosotros es partido: haced esto en memoria de mí.
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
When he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.”
Similmente anche il calice, dopo di aver cenato, dicendo: questo calice è il nuovo testamento nel sangue mio: fate questo tutte le volte, che lo berete, in memoria di me.
Asimismo tomó también la copa, después de haber cenado, diciendo: Esta copa es el nuevo pacto en mi sangre: haced esto todas las veces que bebiereis, en memoria de mí.
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
In the same way he also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink, in memory of me.”
Imperocché ogni volta, che mangerete questo pane, e berete questo calice: annuncerete la morte del Signore per fino a tanto che egli venga.
Porque todas las veces que comiereis este pan, y bebiereis esta copa, la muerte del Señor anunciáis hasta que venga.
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.
Per la qual cosa chiunque mangerà questo pane, o berà il calice del Signore indegnamente: sarà reo del corpo, e del sangue del Signore.
De manera que, cualquiera que comiere este pan ó bebiere esta copa del Señor indignamente, será culpado del cuerpo y de la sangre del Señor.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in a way unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
Provi perciò l'uomo se stesso: e così mangi di quel pane, e beva di quel calice.
Por tanto, pruébese cada uno á sí mismo, y coma así de aquel pan, y beba de aquella copa.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
Imperocché chi mangia, e beve indegnamente, si mangia, e beve la condannazione: non distinguendo il corpo del Signore.
Porque el que come y bebe indignamente, juicio come y bebe para sí, no discerniendo el cuerpo del Señor.
For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy way eats and drinks judgment to himself if he doesn’t discern the Lord’s body.
Per questo molti tra voi sono infermi, e senza forze, e molti dormono.
Por lo cual hay muchos enfermos y debilitados entre vosotros; y muchos duermen.
For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep.
Imperocché se ci giudicassimo da noi stessi, non saremmo certamente giudicati.
Que si nos examinásemos á nosotros mismos, cierto no seríamos juzgados.
For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged.
Ma quando siam giudicati, siamo gastigati dal Signore, affinché non siamo condannati con questo mondo.
Mas siendo juzgados, somos castigados del Señor, para que no seamos condenados con el mundo.
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
Per la qual cosa, fratelli miei, allorché vi radunate per mangiare, aspettatevi gli uni gli altri.
Así, que, hermanos míos, cuando os juntáis á comer, esperaos unos á otros.
Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
Se uno ha fame, mangi a casa: onde non vi raduniate per essere condannati. Alle altre cose poi, tenuto che io sia, darò ordine. Ai varj uomini varj doni sono concessi dallo Spirito Santo, affinchè a similitudine del corpo umano ciascheduno adempia il proprio uffizio, e conoscendo di aver bisogno dell'opera l'uno dell'altro, scambievolmente si amino, e cosi Cristo diversi stati a' uomini diede alla Chiesa.
Si alguno tuviere hambre, coma en su casa, porque no os juntéis para juicio. Las demás cosas ordenaré cuando llegare.
And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
But if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest your coming together be for judgment. The rest I will set in order whenever I come.
