1Die Söhne Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels – er war nämlich der Erstgeborene; weil er aber seines Vaters Lager entweiht hatte, wurde sein Erstgeburtsrecht den Söhnen Josephs, des Sohnes Israels, verliehen, nur daß dieser im Geschlechtsverzeichnis nicht als Erstgeborener verzeichnet wurde;
2denn Juda hatte zwar die Obmacht unter seinen Brüdern, so daß einer aus ihm zum Fürsten gewählt wurde, aber das Erstgeburtsrecht wurde Joseph zuteil –,
3die Söhne Rubens also, des erstgeborenen Sohnes Israels, waren: Hanoch und Pallu, Hezron und Karmi.
4Die Söhne Joels waren: sein Sohn Semaja, dessen Sohn Gog, dessen Sohn Simei,
5dessen Sohn Micha, dessen Sohn Reaja, dessen Sohn Baal,
6dessen Sohn Beera, den Thilgath-Pilneser, der König von Assyrien, in die Gefangenschaft führte; er war ein Fürst der Rubeniten.
7Seine Brüder aber nach ihren Familien, so wie sie nach ihrer Abstammung in ihr Geschlechtsverzeichnis eingetragen wurden, waren: der erste Jehiel, dann Sacharja,
8dann Bela, der Sohn Asas, des Sohnes Semas, des Sohnes Joels. Dieser wohnte in Aroer und bis Nebo und Baal-Meon;
9und nach Osten zu wohnte er bis an die Steppe hin, die sich vom Euphratstrom her erstreckt; denn ihre Herden waren zahlreich in der Landschaft Gilead.
10Zur Zeit Sauls aber führten sie Krieg mit den Hagaritern; und als diese durch ihre Hand gefallen waren, wohnten sie in deren Zeltlagern auf der ganzen Ostseite von Gilead.
11Die Gaditen wohnten ihnen gegenüber in der Landschaft Basan bis Salcha;
12an der Spitze stand Joel, ihm zunächst Sapham, dann Jahenai und Saphat in Basan.
13Ihre Brüder nach ihren Familien waren: Michael, Mesullam, Seba, Jorai, Jahekan, Sia und Eber, zusammen sieben.
14Dies waren die Söhne Abihails, des Sohnes Huris, des Sohnes Jaroahs, des Sohnes Gileads, des Sohnes Michaels, des Sohnes Jesisais, des Sohnes Jahdos, des Sohnes des Bus.
15Ahi, der Sohn Abdiels, des Sohnes Gunis, war das Haupt ihrer Familien.
16Sie wohnten aber in Gilead, in Basan und den zugehörigen Ortschaften und auf allen Weidetriften Sarons bis an ihre Ausgänge.
17Diese alle sind während der Regierung Jothams, des Königs von Juda, und während der Regierung Jerobeams, des Königs von Israel, im Geschlechtsverzeichnis aufgezeichnet worden.
18Die Rubeniten, die Gaditen und der halbe Stamm Manasse, soweit sie tapfere Leute waren, Männer, die Schild und Schwert trugen und den Bogen spannten und kampfgeübt waren – 44760 kriegstüchtige Männer –,
19die führten Krieg mit den Hagaritern und mit Jetur, Naphis und Nodab.
20Und sie gewannen die Oberhand über sie, so daß die Hagariter samt allen, die mit ihnen verbündet waren, in ihre Hand gegeben wurden; denn als sie während des Kampfes zu Gott um Hilfe riefen, ließ er sich von ihnen erbitten, weil sie ihr Vertrauen auf ihn gesetzt hatten.
21Sie führten dann das Vieh jener als Beute weg: 50000 Kamele, 250000 Stück Kleinvieh und 2000 Esel; dazu 100000 Menschen als Sklaven.
22Denn viele waren gefallen, vom Schwert erschlagen, weil der Krieg von Gott verhängt war. Sie wohnten dann an ihrer Statt bis zur Wegführung in die Gefangenschaft.
23Die zum halben Stamm Manasse Gehörigen wohnten im Lande von Basan bis Baal-Hermon und bis zum Senir und zum Hermongebirge. Sie waren zahlreich;
24und dies waren ihre Familienhäupter: Epher, Jisei, Eliel, Asriel, Jeremia, Hodawja und Jahdiel, tapfere Krieger, berühmte Männer, Häupter in ihren Familien.
25Da sie aber dem Gott ihrer Väter untreu wurden und mit den Göttern der im Lande wohnenden heidnischen Völker, die doch Gott vor ihnen her vertilgt hatte, Götzendienst trieben,
26da erregte der Gott Israels den assyrischen König Pul und den assyrischen König Thilgath-Pilneser zur Wut, so daß er die Rubeniten, die Gaditen und den halben Stamm Manasse in die Gefangenschaft schleppte und sie nach Halah sowie an den Habor und nach Hara und an den Fluß Gosan bringen ließ, bis auf den heutigen Tag.
27Die Söhne Levis waren: Gerson, Kehath und Merari;
28und die Söhne Kehaths: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Ussiel.
29Und die Söhne Amrams: Aaron und Mose, und (ihre Schwester) Mirjam. Und die Söhne Aarons: Nadab und Abihu, Eleasar und Ithamar.
30Eleasar zeugte Pinehas, Pinehas zeugte Abisua,
31Abisua zeugte Bukki, Bukki zeugte Ussi,
32Ussi zeugte Serahja, Serahja zeugte Merajoth,
33Merajoth zeugte Amarja, Amarja zeugte Ahitub,
34Ahitub zeugte Zadok, Zadok zeugte Ahimaaz,
35Ahimaaz zeugte Asarja, Asarja zeugte Johanan,
36Johanan zeugte Asarja – das ist derselbe, der den Priesterdienst versah in dem Tempel, den Salomo in Jerusalem erbaut hatte –;
37Asarja zeugte Amarja, Amarja zeugte Ahitub,
38Ahitub zeugte Zadok, Zadok zeugte Sallum,
39Sallum zeugte Hilkia, Hilkia zeugte Asarja,
40Asarja zeugte Seraja, Seraja zeugte Jozadak;
41Jozadak aber zog mit, als der HERR die Bewohner von Juda und Jerusalem durch Nebukadnezar in die Gefangenschaft führen ließ.

1Y LOS hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel, (porque él era el primogénito, mas como violó el lecho de su padre, sus derechos de primogenitura fueron dados á los hijos de José, hijo de Israel; y no fué contado por primogénito.
2Porque Judá fué el mayorazgo sobre sus hermanos, y el príncipe de ellos: mas el derecho de primogenitura fué de José.)
3Fueron pues los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Enoch, Phallu, Esrón y Charmi.
4Los hijos de Joel: Semaías su hijo, Gog su hijo, Simi su hijo;
5Michâ su hijo, Recaía su hijo, Baal su hijo;
6Beera su hijo, el cual fué trasportado por Thiglath-pilneser rey de los Asirios. Este era principal de los Rubenitas.
7Y sus hermanos por sus familias, cuando eran contados en sus descendencias, tenían por príncipes á Jeiel y á Zachârías.
8Y Bela hijo de Azaz, hijo de Sema, hijo de Joel, habitó en Aroer hasta Nebo y Baal-meón.
9Habitó también desde el oriente hasta la entrada del desierto desde el río Eufrates: porque tenía muchos ganados en la tierra de Galaad.
10Y en los días de Saúl trajeron guerra contra los Agarenos, los cuales cayeron en su mano; y ellos habitaron en sus tiendas sobre toda la haz oriental de Galaad.
11Y los hijos de Gad habitaron enfrente de ellos en la tierra de Basán hasta Salca.
12Y Joel fué el principal en Basán, el segundo Sephán, luego Janai, después Saphat.
13Y sus hermanos, según las familias de sus padres, fueron Michâel, Mesullam, Seba, Jorai, Jachân, Zia, y Heber; en todos siete.
14Estos fueron los hijos de Abihail hijo de Huri, hijo de Jaroa, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Michâel, hijo de Jesiaí, hijo de Jaddo, hijo de Buz.
15También Ahí, hijo de Abdiel, hijo de Guni, fué principal en la casa de sus padres.
16Los cuales habitaron en Galaad, en Basán, y en sus aldeas, y en todos los ejidos de Sarón hasta salir de ellos.
17Todos estos fueron contados por sus generaciones en días de Jothán rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam rey de Israel.
18Los hijos de Rubén, y de Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, hombres valientes, hombres que traían escudo y espada, que entesaban arco, y diestros en guerra, eran cuarenta y cuatro mil setecientos y sesenta que salían á batalla.
19Y tuvieron guerra con los Agarenos, y Jethur, y Naphis, y Nodab.
20Y fueron ayudados contra ellos, y los Agarenos se dieron en sus manos, y todos los que con ellos estaban; porque clamaron á Dios en la guerra, y fuéles favorable, porque esperaron en él.
21Y tomaron sus ganados, cincuenta mil camellos, y doscientas cincuenta mil ovejas, dos mil asnos, y cien mil personas.
22Y cayeron muchos heridos, porque la guerra era de Dios; y habitaron en sus lugares hasta la transmigración.
23Y los hijos de la media tribu de Manasés habitaron en la tierra, desde Basán hasta Baal-Hermón, y Senir y el monte de Hermón, multiplicados en gran manera.
24Y estas fueron las cabezas de las casas de sus padres: Epher, Isi, y Eliel, Azriel, y Jeremías, y Odavia, y Jadiel, hombres valientes y de esfuerzo, varones de nombre y cabeceras de las casas de sus padres.
25Mas se rebelaron contra el Dios de sus padres, y fornicaron siguiendo los dioses de los pueblos de la tierra, á los cuales había Jehová quitado de delante de ellos.
26Por lo cual el Dios de Israel excitó el espíritu de Phul rey de los Asirios, y el espíritu de Thiglath-pilneser rey de los Asirios, el cual trasportó á los Rubenitas y Gaditas y á la media tribu de Manasés, y llevólos á Halad, y á Habor y á Ara, y al río de Gozán, hasta hoy.

1Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.
2For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph’s:)
3The sons, I say, of Reuben the firstborn of Israel were, Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
4The sons of Joel; Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5Micah his son, Reaia his son, Baal his son,
6Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites.
7And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned, were the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8And Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baal-meon:
9And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the east land of Gilead.
11And the children of Gad dwelt over against them, in the land of Bashan unto Salchah:
12Joel the chief, and Shapham the next, and Jaanai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
13And their brethren of the house of their fathers were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.
14These are the children of Abihail the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
15Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of the house of their fathers.
16And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in her towns, and in all the suburbs of Sharon, upon their borders.
17All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out to the war.
19And they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.
20And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him.
21And they took away their cattle; of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of men an hundred thousand.
22For there fell down many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their steads until the captivity.
23And the children of the half tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land: they increased from Bashan unto Baal-hermon and Senir, and unto mount Hermon.
24And these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, and heads of the house of their fathers.
25And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
26And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.

19They made war with the Hagrites, with Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab.
20They were helped against them, and the Hagrites were delivered into their hand, and all who were with them; for they cried to God in the battle, and he answered them because they put their trust in him.
21They took away their livestock: of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred fifty thousand, and of donkeys two thousand, and of men one hundred thousand.
22For many fell slain, because the war was of God. They lived in their place until the captivity.
23The children of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the land. They increased from Bashan to Baal Hermon, Senir, and Mount Hermon.
24These were the heads of their fathers’ houses: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, and Jahdiel—mighty men of valor, famous men, heads of their fathers’ houses.
25They trespassed against the God of their fathers, and played the prostitute after the gods of the peoples of the land whom God destroyed before them.
26So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath Pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried away the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them to Halah, Habor, Hara, and to the river of Gozan, to this day.
