E Rahaia figliuolo di Sobal generò Jahath, il quale fu padre di Ahumai, e di Laad. Da questi le famiglie de' Sarathiti.

And Reaiah the son of Shobal begat Jahath; and Jahath begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These are the families of the Zorathites.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Moglie di lui fu anche Judaia, la quale partorì Jared padre di Gedor, ed Heber padre di Socho, e Icuthiel padre di Zanoe. E questi sono i figliuoli di Bethia figliuola di Pharaone, sposata da Mered.
