1 Crónicas 4

Now it came to pass that Jabez was more honourable than his brethren,—but, his mother, had called his name Jabez, †="he causes pain" saying, Because I bare him with pain.

Y Jabes fué más ilustre que sus hermanos, al cual su madre llamó Jabes, diciendo: Por cuanto le parí en dolor.

And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.

Jabez was more honorable than his brothers. His mother named him Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him with sorrow.”
