17Comprendo, Dios mío, que tú pruebas a los hombres para ver si son buenos. He hecho todo esto inspirado por buenos propósitos, y he observado a tu pueblo cómo ofrece sus obsequios alegremente y de buena voluntad.

17Yo sé, Dios mío, que tú escudriñas los corazones, y que la rectitud te agrada: por eso yo con rectitud de mi corazón voluntariamente te he ofrecido todo esto, y ahora he visto con alegría que tu pueblo, que aquí se ha hallado ahora, ha dado para ti espontáneamente.

17I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
