Perocché noi siam pellegrini, e stranieri dinanzi a te, come tutti i padri nostri. Come un'ombra sono i nostri giorni sopra la terra, e non v'è consistenza.

Porque nosotros, extranjeros y advenedizos somos delante de ti, como todos nuestros padres; y nuestros días cual sombra sobre la tierra, y no dan espera.

For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
