4Und dennoch wählte mich der Herr, Gott Israels, aus meinem ganzen Vaterhause, auf daß ich König über Israel für immer sei. Denn Juda hatte er zum Fürsten auserwählt und in dem Judahause meine Sippe, und unter meines Vaters Söhnen hat es ihm beliebt, mich über das gesamte Israel zum Könige zu machen.
