2E levantando-se o rei Davi, posto em pé disse: Ouvi-me, irmãos meus, e povo meu. Eu tinha em propósito edificar uma casa, para que nela repousasse a arca do pacto do SENHOR, e para o estrado dos pés de nosso Deus; e havia já aprontei tudo para edificar.

2Y levantándose el rey David, puesto en pie dijo: Oidme, hermanos míos, y pueblo mío. Yo tenía en propósito edificar una casa, para que en ella reposara el arca del pacto de Jehová, y para el estrado de los pies de nuestro Dios; y había ya aprestado todo para edificar.

2Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:
