1Und dies sind die Israeliten nach ihrer Anzahl, die Familienhäupter, die Anführer der Tausendschaften und der Hundertschaften und ihre Amtleute, die dem Könige dienten in allen Angelegenheiten der Abteilungen, die Monat für Monat alle Monate des Jahres hindurch antraten und abzogen, jede Abteilung in der Stärke von 24000 Mann.
2Die erste Abteilung, im ersten Monate, befehligte Jasobeam, der Sohn Sabdiels, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
3Er gehörte zu den Nachkommen Perez' und war das Oberhaupt aller Heerführer im ersten Monat.
4Die Abteilung des zweiten Monats befehligte Eleasar, der Sohn Dodais, der Ahohiter, und seine Abteilung befehligte Mikloth, der Oberaufseher, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
5Der Anführer des dritten Heeres, für den dritten Monat, war Benaja, der Sohn des Priesters Jojada, als Oberhaupt, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
6Dieser Benaja war der Held unter den dreißig, und die dreißig und seine Abteilung befehligte sein Sohn Ammisabad.
7Der vierte, für den vierten Monat, war Asahel, der Bruder Joabs, und nach ihm sein Sohn Sebadja, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
8Der fünfte, für den fünften Monat, war der Oberste Samhuth, der Jisrahiter, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
9Der sechste, für den sechsten Monat, war Ira, der Sohn des Ikkes von Thekoa, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
10Der siebente, für den siebenten Monat, war Helez, der Peloniter, aus den Ephraimiten, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
11Der achte, für den achten Monat, war Sibbechai, der Hussathiter, aus den Serahitern, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
12Der neunte, für den neunten Monat, war Abieser von Anathoth, aus den Benjaminiten, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
13Der zehnte, für den zehnten Monat, war Maharai von Netopha, aus den Serahitern, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
14Der elfte, für den elften Monat, war Benaja von Pirathon, aus den Ephraimiten, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
15Der zwölfte, für den zwölften Monat, war Heldai von Netopha, aus dem Geschlecht Othniels, und zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000.
16Und über die Stämme Israels waren gesetzt: von den Rubeniten war Fürst: Elieser, der Sohn Sichris, von den Simeoniten Sephatja, der Sohn Maachas,
17von Levi Hasabja, der Sohn Kemuels, von Aaron Zadok,
18von Juda Elihu, einer der Brüder Davids, von Issachar Omri, der Sohn Michaels,
19von Sebulon Jismaja, der Sohn Obadjas, von Naphthali Jerimoth, der Sohn Asriels,
20von den Ephraimiten Hosea, der Sohn Asasjas, vom halben Stamme Manasse Joel, der Sohn Pedajas,
21für den halben Stamm Manasse in Gilead: Iddo, der Sohn Sacharjas, von Benjamin Jaasiel, der Sohn Abners,
22von Dan Asareel, der Sohn Jerohams. Das sind die Fürsten der Stämme Israels.
23Aber die Anzahl derer, die unter zwanzig Jahre alt waren, ließ David nicht aufnehmen; denn Jahwe hatte verheißen, die Israeliten so zahlreich zu machen, wie die Sterne am Himmel.
24Joab, der Sohn Zerujas, hatte mit der Zählung begonnen, war aber nicht damit zu Ende gekommen; denn es erging deshalb ein Gotteszorn über Israel, und die Zahl ward unter die Zahlen in der Geschichte des Königs David nicht aufgenommen.
25Die Vorräte des Königs beaufsichtigte Asmaweth, der Sohn Adiels, und die Vorräte auf dem Felde, in den Städten, Dörfern und Türmen Jonathan, der Sohn Ussias.
26Die Feldarbeiter, die den Acker besorgten, beaufsichtigte Esri, der Sohn Kelubs,
27die Weinberge Simei von Rama; was sich in den Weinbergen an Weinvorräten befand, Sabdi, der Siphmiter;
28Die Ölbäume und Maulbeerfeigen, die sich in der Niederung befanden, Baal Hanan von Gader, die Ölvorräte Joas.
29Die Rinder, die in der Saronebene weideten, beaufsichtigte der Saroniter Sitrai, die Rinder in den Thälern Saphat, der Sohn Adlais,
30die Kamele der Ismaeliter Obil, die Eselinnen der Meronothiter Jehdeja,
31das Kleinvieh der Hagriter Jasis. Diese alle waren Oberbeamte über das Eigentum des Königs David.
32Jonathan aber, der Oheim Davids, ein einsichtiger und schriftkundiger Mann, war Rat; Jehiel, der Sohn Hachmonis, war bei den Söhnen des Königs.
33Ahitophel war königlicher Rat, und Husai, der Arkiter, war der Freund des Königs.
34Nach Ahitophel aber war es Jojada, der Sohn Benajas, und Abjathar. Und Joab war der Feldhauptmann des Königs.

2Sobre la primera división del primer mes estaba Jasobam hijo de Zabdiel; y había en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
3De los hijos de Phares fué él jefe de todos los capitanes de las compañías del primer mes.
4Sobre la división del segundo mes estaba Dodai Ahohita: y Micloth era mayor general en su división, en la que también había veinte y cuatro mil.
5El jefe de la tercera división para el tercer mes era Benaías, hijo de Joiada sumo sacerdote; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
6Este Benaías era valiente entre los treinta y sobre los treinta; y en su división estaba Amisabad su hijo.

25Y Azmaveth hijo de Adiel tenía cargo de los tesoros del rey; y de los tesoros de los campos, y de las ciudades, y de las aldeas y castillos, Jonathán hijo de Uzzías;
26Y de los que trabajaban en la labranza de las tierras, Ezri hijo de Chêlud;

1Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

14The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
16Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
17Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
18Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
19Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
20Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
21Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
22Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
24Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25And over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
26And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
29And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
30Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
31And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
32Also Jonathan David’s uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
33And Ahithophel was the king’s counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king’s companion:
34And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king’s army was Joab.

1Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.
2Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
3He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.
4Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and Mikloth the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
6This is that Benaiah who was the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty. Of his division was Ammizabad his son.

25Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;
26Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.
32Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.
33Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.
