1Suivent les enfants d'Israël selon leur nombre, patriarches et chefs de mille et de cent et leurs officiers au service du roi, selon tout le mode de classement de ceux qui relevaient et de ceux qui étaient relevés, mois par mois de tous les mois de l'année, chaque division de vingt-quatre mille.
2La première division du premier mois était sous Jasobeam, fils de Zabdiel, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
3Il était des fils de Pérets, chef de tous les capitaines de service du premier mois.
4Et la division du second mois était sous Dodaï, l'Ahohïte, et dans sa division Micloth était officier sous lui, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
5Le général de la troisième division du troisième mois était Benaïa, fils du Prêtre Joïada, chef ; et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
6Ce Benaïa était un héros entre les Trente et préposé aux Trente, et sa division était commandée par Ammizabad, son fils.
7Le quatrième du quatrième mois était Asahel, frère de Joab, et Zebadia, son fils, après lui, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
8Le cinquième du cinquième mois, le général était Samehuth, le Jizrahite, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
9Le sixième du sixième mois était Ira, fils de Ikkès, de Thékôa, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
10Le septième du septième mois était Hélets, le Pelonite, des fils d'Ephraïm, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
11Le huitième du huitième mois était Sibchaï, de Husa, des Zarehites, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
12Le neuvième du neuvième mois était Abiézer, d'Anathoth, des Benjaminites, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
13Le dixième du dixième mois était Maharaï, de Netophah, des Zarehites, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
14Le onzième du onzième mois était Benaïa, de Pirathon, des fils d'Éphraïm, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
15Le douzième du douzième mois était Heldaï, de Netophah, de la souche de Othniel, et sa division était de vingt-quatre mille.
16Et à la tête des Tribus d'Israël étaient : à la tête des Rubénites, le prince Éliézer, fils de Zichri ; des Siméonites, Sephatia, fils de Maacha ;
17des Lévites, Hasabia, fils de Kemuel ; de la souche d'Aaron, Tsadoc ;
18de Juda, Elihu, des frères de David ; d'Issaschar, Omri, fils de Michaël ;
19de Zabulon, Jismaïa, fils de Obadia ; de Nephthali, Jerimoth, fils d'Azriel ;
20des fils d'Éphraïm, Hosée, fils de Azazia ;
21de la demi-Tribu de Manassé, Joël, fils de Pedaïa ; de la demi-Tribu de Manassé en Galaad, Iddo, fils de Zacharie ; de Benjamin, Jaësiel, fils d'Abner ;
22de Dan, Azareël, fils de Jeroham. Tels sont les princes des Tribus d'Israël.
23Et David n'admit pas dans le relevé de leur nombre ceux de vingt ans et au-dessous, car l'Éternel avait promis de multiplier les Israélites comme les étoiles du ciel.
24Joab, fils de Tséruïa, commença le recensement, mais ne l'acheva pas ; et cette mesure attira sur Israël la colère de l'Éternel, et le nombre ne fut pas consigné dans le calcul des Annales du roi David.
25Et sur les trésors du roi était préposé Azmaveth, fils de Adiel, et sur les approvisionnements dans les campagnes, les villes, les villages et les tours, Jonathan, fils de Uzzia ;
26et sur les agriculteurs pour la culture du sol, Ezri, fils de Chelub ;
27et sur les vignes, Siméï, de Rama, et sur les provisions de vin dans les vignes, Zabdi, de Séphem ;
28et sur les olivaies et les sycomores dans le pays-bas, Baal-Hanan, de Gader ; et sur les provisions d'huile, Joas ;
29et sur le gros bétail paissant en Saron, Sitraï, de Saron ; et sur le bétail des vallées, Saphat, fils d'Adlaï,
30et sur les chameaux, Obil, l'Ismaélite, et sur les ânesses, Jèhedia de Meronath ;
31et sur le menu bétail, Jaziz, l'Hagarite. Tous ceux-là étaient intendants des biens du roi David.
32Et Jonathan, oncle de David, était conseiller, homme intelligent et instruit, et Jehiel, fils de Hachmoni, était auprès des fils du roi.
33Et Achitophel était conseiller du roi, et Husaï, d'Érech, ami du roi ;
34à la suite d'Achitophel étaient Joïada, fils de Benaïa, et Abiathar ; et le roi avait pour général d'armée Joab.

1Y LOS hijos de Israel según su número, á saber, príncipes de familias, tribunos, centuriones y oficiales de los que servían al rey en todos los negocios de las divisiones que entraban y salían cada mes en todos los meses del año, eran en cada división veinte y cuatro mil.
2Sobre la primera división del primer mes estaba Jasobam hijo de Zabdiel; y había en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
3De los hijos de Phares fué él jefe de todos los capitanes de las compañías del primer mes.
4Sobre la división del segundo mes estaba Dodai Ahohita: y Micloth era mayor general en su división, en la que también había veinte y cuatro mil.
5El jefe de la tercera división para el tercer mes era Benaías, hijo de Joiada sumo sacerdote; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
6Este Benaías era valiente entre los treinta y sobre los treinta; y en su división estaba Amisabad su hijo.
7El cuarto jefe para el cuarto mes era Asael hermano de Joab, y después de él Zebadías su hijo; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
8El quinto jefe para el quinto mes era Sambuth Izrita: y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
9El sexto para el sexto mes era Hira hijo de Icces, de Tecoa; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
10El séptimo para el séptimo mes era Helles Pelonita, de los hijos de Ephraim; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
11El octavo para el octavo mes era Sibbecai Husatita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
12El noveno para el noveno mes era Abiezer Anathothita, de los Benjamitas; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
13El décimo para el décimo mes era Maharai Nethophathita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
14El undécimo para el undécimo mes era Benaías Piratonita, de los hijos de Ephraim; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
15El duodécimo para el duodécimo mes era Heldai Nethophathita, de Othniel; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
16Asimismo sobre las tribus de Israel: el jefe de los Rubenitas era Eliezer hijo de Zichri; de los Simeonitas, Sephatías, hijo de Maachâ:
17De los Levitas, Hasabías hijo de Camuel; de los Aaronitas, Sadoc;
18De Judá, Eliú, uno de los hermanos de David; de los de Issachâr, Omri hijo de Michâel;
19De los de Zabulón, Ismaías hijo de Abdías; de los de Nephtalí, Jerimoth hijo de Azriel;
20De los hijos de Ephraim, Oseas hijo de Azazía; de la media tribu de Manasés, Joel hijo de Pedaía;

22Y de Dan, Azarael hijo de Jeroam. Estos fueron los jefes de las tribus de Israel.
23Y no tomó David el número de los que eran de veinte años abajo, por cuanto Jehová había dicho que él había de multiplicar á Israel como las estrellas del cielo.
24Joab hijo de Sarvia había comenzado á contar, mas no acabó, pues por esto vino la ira sobre Israel: y así el número no fué puesto en el registro de las crónicas del rey David.
25Y Azmaveth hijo de Adiel tenía cargo de los tesoros del rey; y de los tesoros de los campos, y de las ciudades, y de las aldeas y castillos, Jonathán hijo de Uzzías;
26Y de los que trabajaban en la labranza de las tierras, Ezri hijo de Chêlud;
27Y de las viñas Simi Ramathita; y del fruto de las viñas para las bodegas, Zabdías Siphmita;
28Y de los olivares é higuerales que había en las campiñas, Baal-hanan Gederita; y de los almacenes del aceite, Joas;
29De las vacas que pastaban en Sarón, Sitrai Saronita; y de las vacas que estaban en los valles, Saphat hijo de Adlai;
30Y de los camellos, Obil Ismaelita; y de las asnas, Jedías Meronothita;
31Y de las ovejas, Jaziz Agareno. Todos estos eran superintendentes de la hacienda del rey David.
32Y Jonathán, tío de David, era consejero, varón prudente y escriba; y Jehiel hijo de Hacmoni estaba con los hijos del rey.
33Y también Achitophel era consejero del rey; y Husai Arachîta amigo del rey.
34Después de Achitophel era Joiada hijo de Benaías, y Abiathar. Y Joab era el general del ejército del rey.

1Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

14The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
16Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
17Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
18Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
19Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
20Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
21Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
22Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
24Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25And over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
26And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
29And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
30Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
31And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
32Also Jonathan David’s uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
33And Ahithophel was the king’s counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king’s companion:
34And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king’s army was Joab.

1Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.
2Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
3He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.
4Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and Mikloth the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
6This is that Benaiah who was the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty. Of his division was Ammizabad his son.

25Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;
26Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.
32Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.
33Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.
