1Und die Kinder Israel, nach ihrer Zahl, die Häupter der Väter und die Obersten über tausend und über hundert, und ihre Vorsteher, die dem König dienten in allen Angelegenheiten der Abteilungen, der antretenden und der abtretenden, Monat für Monat, für alle Monate des Jahres; eine jede Abteilung zählte vierundzwanzigtausend Mann.
2Über die erste Abteilung für den ersten Monat war Jaschobam, der Sohn Sabdiels; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
3Er war von den Söhnen des Perez, das Haupt aller Heerobersten für den ersten Monat.
4Und über die Abteilung des zweiten Monats war Dodai, der Achochiter; und von seiner Abteilung war Mikloth Oberaufseher; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
5Der Oberste des dritten Heeres für den dritten Monat war Benaja, der Sohn Jojadas, des Krondieners, als Haupt; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
6Dieser Benaja war ein Held unter den Dreißig und über die Dreißig; und von seiner Abteilung war Ammisabad, sein Sohn, Oberaufseher.
7Der vierte für den vierten Monat war Asael, der Bruder Joabs, und Sebadja, sein Sohn, nach ihm; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
8der fünfte für den fünften Monat war der Oberste Schamhuth, der Jisrachiter; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
9Der sechste für den sechsten Monat war Ira, der Sohn Ikkesch', der Tekoiter; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
10Der siebte für den siebten Monat war Helez, der Peloniter, von den Kindern Ephraim; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
11Der achte für den achten Monat war Sibbekai, der Huschathiter, von den Sarchitern; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
12Der neunte für den neunten Monat war Abieser, der Anathothiter, von den Benjaminitern; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
13Der zehnte für den zehnten Monat war Maharai, der Netophathiter, von den Sarchitern; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
14Der elfte für den elften Monat war Benaja, der Pirhathoniter, von den Kindern Ephraim; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
15der zwölfte für den zwölften Monat war Heldai, der Netophathiter, von Othniel; und in seiner Abteilung waren vierundzwanzigtausend.
16Und über die Stämme Israels: Der Fürst der Rubeniter war Elieser, der Sohn Sikris; der Simeoniter, Schephatja, der Sohn Maakas;
17von Levi, Haschabja, der Sohn Kemuels; von Aaron, Zadok;
18von Juda, Elihu, von den Brüdern Davids; von Issaschar, Omri, der Sohn Michaels;
19von Sebulon, Jischmaja, der Sohn Obadjas; von Naphtali, Jerimoth, der Sohn Asriels;
20von den Kindern Ephraim, Hosea, der Sohn Asasjas; von dem halben Stamme Manasse, Joel, der Sohn Pedajas;
21von der Hälfte des Manasse in Gilead, Iddo, der Sohn Sekarjas; von Benjamin, Jaasiel, der Sohn Abners;
22von Dan, Asarel, der Sohn Jerochams. Das sind die Obersten der Stämme Israels.
23Und David nahm ihre Zahl von zwanzig Jahren an und darunter nicht auf; denn Jehova hatte gesagt, daß er Israel mehren würde wie die Sterne des Himmels.
24Joab, der Sohn der Zeruja, hatte zu zählen begonnen, aber nicht vollendet; und es kam deshalb ein Zorn über Israel; und so wurde die Zahl in die Aufzählung der Jahrbücher des Königs David nicht aufgenommen.
25Und über die Schätze des Königs war Asmaweth, der Sohn Adiels. Und über die Vorräte auf dem Felde, in den Städten und in den Dörfern und in den Türmen, war Jonathan, der Sohn Ussijas.
26Und über die Feldarbeiter beim Landbau: Esri, der Sohn Kelubs.
27Und über die Weinberge: Simei, der Ramathiter; und über den Ertrag der Weinberge, über die Weinvorräte: Sabdi, der Schiphmiter.
28Und über die Olivenbäume und die Sykomoren, welche in der Niederung waren: Baal-Hanan, der Gederiter; und über die Ölvorräte: Joas.
29Und über die Rinder, die in Saron weideten: Schitrai, der Saroniter; und über die Rinder in den Niederungen: Schaphat, der Sohn Adlais;
30und über die Kamele: Obil, der Ismaeliter; und über die Eselinnen: Jechdeja, der Meronothiter;
31und über das Kleinvieh: Jasis, der Hageriter. Alle diese waren Aufseher über die Habe des Königs David.
32Und Jonathan, der Oheim Davids, war Rat; er war ein einsichtiger Mann und ein Schriftgelehrter. Und Jechiel, der Sohn Hakmonis, war bei den Söhnen des Königs.
33Und Ahitophel war Rat des Königs; und Husai, der Arkiter, war Freund des Königs;
34und nach Ahitophel war Jojada, der Sohn Benajas, und Abjathar. Und Joab war Heeroberster des Königs.

1Y LOS hijos de Israel según su número, á saber, príncipes de familias, tribunos, centuriones y oficiales de los que servían al rey en todos los negocios de las divisiones que entraban y salían cada mes en todos los meses del año, eran en cada división veinte y cuatro mil.
2Sobre la primera división del primer mes estaba Jasobam hijo de Zabdiel; y había en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
3De los hijos de Phares fué él jefe de todos los capitanes de las compañías del primer mes.
4Sobre la división del segundo mes estaba Dodai Ahohita: y Micloth era mayor general en su división, en la que también había veinte y cuatro mil.
5El jefe de la tercera división para el tercer mes era Benaías, hijo de Joiada sumo sacerdote; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
6Este Benaías era valiente entre los treinta y sobre los treinta; y en su división estaba Amisabad su hijo.
7El cuarto jefe para el cuarto mes era Asael hermano de Joab, y después de él Zebadías su hijo; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
8El quinto jefe para el quinto mes era Sambuth Izrita: y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
9El sexto para el sexto mes era Hira hijo de Icces, de Tecoa; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.

11El octavo para el octavo mes era Sibbecai Husatita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
12El noveno para el noveno mes era Abiezer Anathothita, de los Benjamitas; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.

24Joab hijo de Sarvia había comenzado á contar, mas no acabó, pues por esto vino la ira sobre Israel: y así el número no fué puesto en el registro de las crónicas del rey David.
25Y Azmaveth hijo de Adiel tenía cargo de los tesoros del rey; y de los tesoros de los campos, y de las ciudades, y de las aldeas y castillos, Jonathán hijo de Uzzías;
26Y de los que trabajaban en la labranza de las tierras, Ezri hijo de Chêlud;
27Y de las viñas Simi Ramathita; y del fruto de las viñas para las bodegas, Zabdías Siphmita;
28Y de los olivares é higuerales que había en las campiñas, Baal-hanan Gederita; y de los almacenes del aceite, Joas;
29De las vacas que pastaban en Sarón, Sitrai Saronita; y de las vacas que estaban en los valles, Saphat hijo de Adlai;

31Y de las ovejas, Jaziz Agareno. Todos estos eran superintendentes de la hacienda del rey David.
32Y Jonathán, tío de David, era consejero, varón prudente y escriba; y Jehiel hijo de Hacmoni estaba con los hijos del rey.
33Y también Achitophel era consejero del rey; y Husai Arachîta amigo del rey.

1Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

14The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
16Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
17Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
18Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
19Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
20Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
21Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
22Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
24Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25And over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
26And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
29And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
30Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
31And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
32Also Jonathan David’s uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
33And Ahithophel was the king’s counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king’s companion:
34And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king’s army was Joab.

1Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.
2Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
3He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.
4Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and Mikloth the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
6This is that Benaiah who was the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty. Of his division was Ammizabad his son.

25Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;
26Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.
32Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.
33Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.
