1Ahora el número de los hijos de Israel, es decir, los jefes de familia, y los capitanes de miles y cientos, y los hombres en autoridad que eran siervos del rey en todo lo relacionado con las divisiones que servían por turnos, mes tras mes durante todos los meses del año, en cada división había veinticuatro mil.
2Durante la primera división durante el primer mes estuvo Jasobeam, el hijo de Zabdiel; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
3Era de los hijos de Fares, y el jefe de todos los capitanes del ejército durante el primer mes.
4Y durante la división del segundo mes, Dodai el ahohíta, él jefe era Miclot; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
5El tercer capitán del ejército durante el tercer mes fue Benaía, el hijo del sacerdote Joiada; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
6Este Benaía fue el gran hombre, que estaba sobre los treinta; y sobre la división estaba Amisadab su hijo.
7El cuarto capitán del cuarto mes fue Asael, el hermano de Joab, y Zebadías su hijo después de él; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
8El quinto capitán del quinto mes fue Samhut el Izraita; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
9El sexto capitán del sexto mes fue Ira, el hijo de Iques, de Tecoa; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
10El séptimo capitán del séptimo mes fue Heles el paltita, de los hijos de Efraín; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
11El octavo capitán por octavo mes fue Sibecai él de Husa, de los de Zera; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
12El noveno capitán del noveno mes fue Abiezer de Anatot, de los Benjamitas; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
13El décimo capitán para el décimo mes fue Maharai de Netofa, de los de Zera; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
14El undécimo capitán para el mes undécimo fue Benaía el de Piraton, de los hijos de Efraín; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
15El duodécimo capitán del duodécimo mes fue Heldai él de Netofa, de Otoniel; y en su división fueron veinticuatro mil.
16Y sobre las tribus de Israel: los jefes de la tribu de Reuben era Eliezer, el hijo de Zicri; de la de Simeón, Sefatías, hijo de Maaca;
17De Leví, Hasabías, hijo de Kemuel; de Aarón, Sadoc;
18De Judá, Eliú, uno de los hermanos de David; de Isacar, Omri, el hijo de Micael;
19De Zabulón, Ismaías, hijo de Abdías; de Neftalí, Jerimot, hijo de Azriel;
20De los hijos de Efraín, Oseas, hijo de Azazías; de la media tribu de Manasés, Joel, hijo de Pedaías;
21De la media tribu de Manasés en Galaad, Iddo, hijo de Zacarías; de Benjamín, Jaasiel, el hijo de Abner;
22De Dan, Azareel, el hijo de Jeroham. Estos fueron los jefes de las tribus de Israel.
23Pero David no tomó el número de los que tenían menos de veinte años, porque el Señor había dicho que haría a Israel como las estrellas del cielo en número.
24La numeración fue iniciada por Joab, hijo de Sarvia, pero no continuó hasta el final; y debido a ello, la ira vino sobre Israel y el número no fue registrado en la historia del rey David.
25Y Azmavet, el hijo de Adiel, era el tesorero de la propiedad del rey; Jonatán, el hijo de Uzías, tenía el control de todos los almacenes en los lugares del campo y en las ciudades y pueblos pequeños y lugares fuertes;
26Ezri, el hijo de Quelub, tenía autoridad sobre los trabajadores de campo y los agricultores;
27Simei, de Ramat era responsable de los jardines de viñedos; y Zabdi de Sefam era responsable de los productos de los viñedos y de todas las tiendas de vino;
28Baal-hanan, de Gedera, era responsable de los olivos y los sicomoros en las tierras bajas; y Joás para los almacenes de aceite;
29Y Sitrai, de Saron era responsable de los rebaños en las tierras de pastoreo de Saron, y de Safat, el hijo de Adlai, por los que estaban en los valles;
30Obil el ismaelita tenía el control de los camellos y Jehdeia, de Meronot de los asnos;
31Los rebaños estaban al cuidado de Jaziz, él agareno. Todos estos eran los administradores de la propiedad del rey David.
32Ahora Jonatán, hermano del padre de David, era consejero, y un hombre sensato, era un escriba; y Jehiel hijo de Hacmoni, cuidaba a los hijos del rey.
33Y Ahitofel era el consejero del rey y Husai el Arquita era el hombre de confianza del rey.
34Después de Ahitofel fue Joiada, el hijo de Benaía y Abiatar; y el capitán del ejército del rey fue Joab.

3De los hijos de Phares fué él jefe de todos los capitanes de las compañías del primer mes.
4Sobre la división del segundo mes estaba Dodai Ahohita: y Micloth era mayor general en su división, en la que también había veinte y cuatro mil.
5El jefe de la tercera división para el tercer mes era Benaías, hijo de Joiada sumo sacerdote; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
6Este Benaías era valiente entre los treinta y sobre los treinta; y en su división estaba Amisabad su hijo.
7El cuarto jefe para el cuarto mes era Asael hermano de Joab, y después de él Zebadías su hijo; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
8El quinto jefe para el quinto mes era Sambuth Izrita: y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
9El sexto para el sexto mes era Hira hijo de Icces, de Tecoa; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
10El séptimo para el séptimo mes era Helles Pelonita, de los hijos de Ephraim; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
11El octavo para el octavo mes era Sibbecai Husatita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.

18De Judá, Eliú, uno de los hermanos de David; de los de Issachâr, Omri hijo de Michâel;
19De los de Zabulón, Ismaías hijo de Abdías; de los de Nephtalí, Jerimoth hijo de Azriel;

24Joab hijo de Sarvia había comenzado á contar, mas no acabó, pues por esto vino la ira sobre Israel: y así el número no fué puesto en el registro de las crónicas del rey David.
25Y Azmaveth hijo de Adiel tenía cargo de los tesoros del rey; y de los tesoros de los campos, y de las ciudades, y de las aldeas y castillos, Jonathán hijo de Uzzías;
26Y de los que trabajaban en la labranza de las tierras, Ezri hijo de Chêlud;
27Y de las viñas Simi Ramathita; y del fruto de las viñas para las bodegas, Zabdías Siphmita;
28Y de los olivares é higuerales que había en las campiñas, Baal-hanan Gederita; y de los almacenes del aceite, Joas;
29De las vacas que pastaban en Sarón, Sitrai Saronita; y de las vacas que estaban en los valles, Saphat hijo de Adlai;
30Y de los camellos, Obil Ismaelita; y de las asnas, Jedías Meronothita;
31Y de las ovejas, Jaziz Agareno. Todos estos eran superintendentes de la hacienda del rey David.
32Y Jonathán, tío de David, era consejero, varón prudente y escriba; y Jehiel hijo de Hacmoni estaba con los hijos del rey.
33Y también Achitophel era consejero del rey; y Husai Arachîta amigo del rey.
34Después de Achitophel era Joiada hijo de Benaías, y Abiathar. Y Joab era el general del ejército del rey.

1Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
8The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
9The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

14The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.

16Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
17Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
18Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
19Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
20Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
21Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
22Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
24Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25And over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
26And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
29And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
30Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
31And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David’s.
32Also Jonathan David’s uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons:
33And Ahithophel was the king’s counsellor: and Hushai the Archite was the king’s companion:
34And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king’s army was Joab.

1Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.

25Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;
26Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.
32Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.
33Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.
