24Et Joab, fils de Sarvia, avait commencé le dénombrement du peuple, mais il ne l'acheva point ; et ce dénombrement causa la colère qui éclata contre Israël, et le nombre que l'on avait trouvé fut supprimé du livre des faits et gestes du roi David.

24Joab hijo de Sarvia había comenzado á contar, mas no acabó, pues por esto vino la ira sobre Israel: y así el número no fué puesto en el registro de las crónicas del rey David.

24Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
