1Estas fueron las clases o divisiones de los ostiarios o porteros. De la casa de Coré: Meselemías, descendiente de Coré, de la familia de los hijos de Asaf.
2Hijos de Meselemías: Zacarías primogénito, Jadihel el segundo, Zabadías el tercero, Jatanael el cuarto,
3Elam el quinto, Johanán el sexto, Elioenai el séptimo.
4Hijos de Obededom: Semeías primogénito, Jozabad el segundo, el tercero Joaha, el cuarto Sacar, Natanael el quinto,
5Ammiel el sexto, Isacar el séptimo, Follati, el octavo; porque bendijo el Señor a Obededom.
6Y Semei, o Semeías, su hijo, tuvo hijos que fueron cabezas de otras tantas familias de ostiarios; porque eran varones de gran fuerza.
7Hijos de Semeías: Otni, y Rafael, y Obed, y Elzabad, y sus hermanos, hombres robustísimos; como también Eliú y Samaquías.
8Todos éstos eran de la familia de Obededom; así ellos como sus hijos y hermanos, o parientes, varones de la mayor robustez para su ministerio; en todos, sesenta y dos de la casa de Obededom.
9Los hijos de Meselemías, con sus hermanos, muy robustos, eran dieciocho.
10De Hosa, esto es, del linaje de Merari, Semri fue cabeza de una clase (porque su padre no tenía primogénito, y por eso le había puesto a él por principal).
11Helcías el segundo, Tabelías el tercero, Zacarías el cuarto. Todos estos hijos de Hosa, junto con sus hermanos, eran trece.
12Entre éstos fue distribuido el oficio de portero, de tal suerte, que los capitanes de las guardias, como también sus hermanos, servían siempre en la casa del Señor.
13Se echaron, pues, las suertes por familias, con igualdad, sin distinción de pequeños ni grandes, para cada una de las puertas.
14Según esto la portería oriental tocó a Selemías o Meselemías; y a Zacarías, su hijo, varón muy prudente e instruido, la del lado septentrional.
15A Obededom y sus hijos tocó por suerte la del mediodía, en cuya parte de la casa o templo estaba el consejo de los Ancianos o sala del Sanedrín.
16A Sefim y a Hosa la de occidente, junto a la puerta que conduce al camino de la subida del palacio al templo, guardia y contraguardia.
17La puerta del oriente la guardaban seis levitas; la del norte cuatro, que se mudaban cada día; y la del mediodía cuatro, igualmente todos los días; y allí donde estaba el consejo, de dos en dos.
18Al occidente, en las viviendas o celdas de los porteros, cuatro en el camino a palacio, y dos en los aposentos.
19Así fue distribuida la guardia de las puertas entre los hijos de Coré y de Merari.
20Por otra parte Aquías tenía la superintendencia de los tesoros de la casa de Dios y de los vasos sagrados.
21Hijos de Ledán, hijo de Gersonni o Gersom, hijo de Leví. De Ledán, descienden estas cabezas de familias: Ledán, Gersoni y Jehieli.
22Y los hijos de Jehieli: Zatán y Joel, su hermano, guardas de los tesoros de la casa del Señor,
23con los de la familia de Amram, de Isaar, de Hebrón y de Ozihel.
24Pero Subael, descendiente de Gersom, hijo de Moisés, era tesorero mayor.
25Asimismo su hermano Eliezer, de quien fue hijo Rahabías, y de éste Isaías, de Isaías, Joram, del cual lo fue Zocri, y de éste Selemit.
26Selemit, pues, con sus hermanos, tenían la custodia de los tesoros del santuario, que habían consagrado a Dios el rey David y los príncipes de las familias, y los tribunos, y centuriones, y demás capitanes del ejército,
27esto es, de las cosas tomadas en la guerra, y de los despojos de las batallas, que habían consagrado para la conservación del templo del Señor y de sus utensilios.
28Todas estas cosas las habían consagrado al Señor Samuel profeta, Saúl hijo de Cis, y Abner hijo de Ner, y Joab hijo de Sarvia. Todos los que consagraban dones, los ponían en manos de Selemit y de sus hermanos.
29Los descendientes de Isaar tenían por cabeza a Conenías con sus hijos; y cuidaban de las cosas de afuera concernientes a Israel, de instruir, y juzgar al pueblo.
30Hasabías, de la familia de los hebronitas, y sus hermanos, en número de mil setecientos, hombres muy valerosos, gobernaban la parte de Israel que está al otro lado del Jordán hacia el poniente, en todos los negocios concernientes al servicio del Señor y del rey.
31Jerías fue cabeza de los hebronitas, divididos en sus familias y casas. El año cuarenta del reinado de David fueron numerados en Jazer de Galaad; de estos varones fortísimos,
32y de sus hermanos en el mayor vigor de la edad, se hallaron dos mil setecientas cabezas de familia. Y el rey David les dio el mando sobre los rubenitas, y gaditas, y la media tribu de Manasés, en todo lo tocante al servicio de Dios y del rey.

8Todos estos de los hijos de Obed-edom: ellos con sus hijos y sus hermanos, hombres robustos y fuertes para el ministerio; sesenta y dos, de Obed-edom.
9Y los hijos de Meselemia y sus hermanos, dieciocho hombres valientes.
10De Hosa, de los hijos de Merari: Simri el principal, (aunque no era el primogénito, mas su padre lo puso para que fuese cabeza;)
11El segundo Hilcías, el tercero Tebelías, el cuarto Zachârías: todos los hijos de Hosa y sus hermanos fueron trece.
12Entre estos se hizo la distribución de los porteros, alternando los principales de los varones en la guardia con sus hermanos, para servir en la casa de Jehová.
13Y echaron suertes, el pequeño con el grande, por las casas de sus padres, para cada puerta.
14Y cayó la suerte al oriente á Selemía. Y á Zachârías su hijo, consejero entendido, metieron en las suertes: y salió la suerte suya al norte.
15Y por Obed-edom, al mediodía; y por sus hijos, la casa de la consulta.
16Por Suppim y Hosa al occidente, con la puerta de Sallechêt al camino de la subida, guardia contra guardia.
17Al oriente seis Levitas, al norte cuatro de día; al mediodía cuatro de día; y á la casa de la consulta, de dos en dos.
18En la cámara de los vasos al occidente, cuatro al camino, y dos en la cámara.
19Estos son los repartimientos de los porteros, hijos de los Coraitas, y de los hijos de Merari.
20Y de los Levitas, Achîas tenía cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Dios, y de los tesoros de las cosas santificadas.
21Cuanto á los hijos de Ladán, hijos de Gersón: de Ladán, los príncipes de las familias de Ladán fueron Gersón, y Jehieli.
22Los hijos de Jehieli, Zethán y Joel su hermano, tuvieron cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Jehová.
23Acerca de los Amramitas, de los Isharitas, de los Hebronitas, y de los Uzzielitas,
24Sebuel hijo de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era principal sobre los tesoros.
25En orden á su hermano Eliezer, hijo de éste era Rehabía, hijo de éste Isaías, hijo de éste Joram, hijo de éste Zichri, del que fué hijo Selomith.
26Este Selomith y sus hermanos tenían cargo de todos los tesoros de todas las cosas santificadas, que había consagrado el rey David, y los príncipes de las familias, y los capitanes de millares y de cientos, y los jefes del ejército;
27De lo que habían consagrado de las guerras y de los despojos, para reparar la casa de Jehová.
28Asimismo todas las cosas que había consagrado Samuel vidente, y Saúl hijo de Cis, y Abner hijo de Ner, y Joab hijo de Sarvia: y todo lo que cualquiera consagraba, estaba bajo la mano de Selomith y de sus hermanos.
29De los Isharitas, Chenanía y sus hijos eran gobernadores y jueces sobre Israel en las obras de fuera.
30De los Hebronitas, Hasabías y sus hermanos, hombres de vigor, mil y setecientos, gobernaban á Israel de la otra parte del Jordán, al occidente, en toda la obra de Jehová, y en el servicio del rey.
31De los Hebronitas, Jerías era el principal entre los Hebronitas repartidos en sus linajes por sus familias. En el año cuarenta del reinado de David se registraron, y halláronse entre ellos fuertes y vigorosos en Jazer de Galaad.
32Y sus hermanos, hombres valientes, eran dos mil y setecientos, cabezas de familias, los cuales el rey David constituyó sobre los Rubenitas, Gaditas, y sobre la media tribu de Manasés, para todas las cosas de Dios, y los negocios del rey.

1Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2And the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4Moreover the sons of Obed-edom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth,
5Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
7The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8All these of the sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obed-edom.
9And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
10Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
11Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15To Obed-edom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
17Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
18At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.
20And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.
22The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
23Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:
24And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.
25And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26Which Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.
28And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.
31Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
32And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.

29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were appointed to the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, one thousand seven hundred men of valor, had the oversight of Israel beyond the Jordan westward, for all the business of the LORD and for the service of the king.
31Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers’ households. They were sought for in the fortieth year of the reign of David, and mighty men of valor were found among them at Jazer of Gilead.
32His relatives, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of fathers’ households, whom King David made overseers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
