E David re diede loro la soprintendenza sopra i Rubeniti, e i Gadditi, e la mezza tribù di Manasse per tutto quello, che concerneva il servizio di Dio, e quello del re. Dei dodici principi, ciascuno de’ quali avea nel tuo mese il comando di ventiquattro mila soldati; e dei principi, ovver prefetti delle tribù, dei tesori, e delle altre facoltà del re.
Y sus hermanos, hombres valientes, eran dos mil y setecientos, cabezas de familias, los cuales el rey David constituyó sobre los Rubenitas, Gaditas, y sobre la media tribu de Manasés, para todas las cosas de Dios, y los negocios del rey.
