Di Hosa, cioè della stirpe di Merari: Semri fu capo di una banda (perocché suo padre non avea il primogenito, e a lui avea dato perciò il primo luogo),

De Hosa, de los hijos de Merari: Simri el principal, (aunque no era el primogénito, mas su padre lo puso para que fuese cabeza;)

Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
