1David y los jefes del ejército separaron para el culto a los que de entre los hijos de Asaf, de Hemán y de Jedutún tenían que ejercer la música sacra con cítaras, salterios y címbalos. He aquí el número de los hombres que hacían esto en su ministerio:

1ASIMISMO David y los príncipes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio á los hijos de Asaph, y de Hemán, y de Jeduthún, los cuales profetizasen con arpas, salterios, y címbalos: y el número de ellos fué, de hombres idóneos para la obra de su ministerio respectivo:
