1Ahora, las divisiones en que se agruparon los hijos de Aarón fueron estas: los hijos de Aarón, Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
2Pero Nadab y Abiú llegaron a su fin antes que su padre, y no tuvieron hijos; así hicieron Eleazar e Itamar el trabajo de los sacerdotes.
3Y David, con Sadoc de los hijos de Eleazar y Ahimelec de los hijos de Itamar, los repartió en sus puestos para su trabajo.
4Y hubo más jefes entre los hijos de Eleazar que entre los hijos de Itamar; y así se agruparon: de los hijos de Eleazar había dieciséis, todos jefes de familia; y de los hijos de Itamar, jefes de familia, había ocho.
5Así que fueron agrupados, por decisión del Señor, uno con el otro; porque había gobernantes del lugar santo y gobernantes de la casa de Dios entre los hijos de Eleazar y los hijos de Itamar.
6Entonces Semaías, hijo de Nethanel, escriba, que era levita, escribió sus nombres por escrito: el rey estaba presente con los gobernantes, y el sacerdote Sadoc, y Ahimelec, hijo de Abiatar, y jefes de familia de los sacerdotes y los levitas; una familia tomada para Eleazar y luego una para Ithamar, y así sucesivamente.
7Y el primer nombre que salió fue el de Joiarib; el segundo jedaias;
8El tercer Harim; el cuarto Seorim;
9El quinto Malquias; el sexto Mijamin;
10El séptimo Cos; el octavo Abías;
11El noveno Jesúa; el décimo Secanías;
12El undécimo Eliasib; el duodécimo Jaquim;
13La decimotercera Hupa; el decimocuarto jesebeab;
14La quinceava Bilga; la decimosexta Imer;
15El decimoséptimo Hezir; el decimoctavo Afses;
16El decimonoveno de Petaias; el vigésimo Hezequiel;
17El vigésimo primero Jaquin; el vigésimo segundo Gamul;
18El vigésimo tercer Delaía; el vigésimo cuarto Maazías.
19Así que fueron puestos en sus diferentes grupos, para tomar sus lugares en la casa del Señor, de acuerdo con las reglas establecidas por su padre Aarón, como el Señor, el Dios de Israel, le había dado órdenes.
20Y del resto de los hijos de Leví: de los hijos de Amram, Subael; de los hijos de Subael, Jehdeías.
21De los hijos de Rehabiah, Isias él mayor.
22De los Izhar, Selomot; de los hijos de Selomot, Jahat.
23Y los hijos de Hebrón: Jerías el primero,; Amarías, el segundo; Jahaziel el tercero; Jacaman, el cuarto.
24Los hijos de Uziel, Micaia; de los hijos de Miqueas, Samir.
25El hermano de Miqueas, Isias; de los hijos de Isias, Zacarías.
26Los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi; Los hijos de Jaazías.
27Los hijos de Merari: de Jaazias, Soham y Zacur e Ibri.
28De Mahli: Eleazar, que no tuvo hijos.
29De Cis: los hijos de Kish, Jerahmeel.
30Y los hijos de Musi: Mahli, Edar y Jerimot. Estos fueron los hijos de los levitas por sus familias.
31La selección se hizo de estos de la misma manera que de sus hermanos, los hijos de Aarón, estando presente David el rey, con Sadoc, y Ahimelec, y los jefes de familia de los sacerdotes y de los levitas.

1TAMBIÉN los hijos de Aarón tuvieron sus repartimientos. Los hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar é Ithamar.
2Mas Nadab y Abiú murieron antes que su padre, y no tuvieron hijos: Eleazar é Ithamar tuvieron el sacerdocio.
3Y David los repartió, siendo Sadoc de los hijos de Eleazar, y Ahimelech de los hijos de Ithamar, por sus turnos en su ministerio.
4Y los hijos de Eleazar fueron hallados, cuanto á sus principales varones, muchos más que los hijos de Ithamar; y repartiéronlos así: De los hijos de Eleazar había dieciséis cabezas de familias paternas; y de los hijos de Ithamar por las familias de sus padres, ocho.
5Repartiéronlos pues por suerte los unos con los otros: porque de los hijos de Eleazar y de los hijos de Ithamar hubo príncipes del santuario, y príncipes de la casa de Dios.
6Y Semeías escriba, hijo de Nathanael, de los Levitas, escribiólos delante del rey y de los príncipes, y delante de Sadoc el sacerdote, y de Ahimelech hijo de Abiathar, y de los príncipes de las familias de los sacerdotes y Levitas: y adscribían una familia á Eleazar, y á Ithamar otra.
7Y la primera suerte salió por Joiarib, la segunda por Jedaía;
8La tercera por Harim, la cuarta por Seorim;
9La quinta por Malchîas, la sexta por Miamim;
10La séptima por Cos, la octava por Abías;
11La nona por Jesua, la décima por Sechânía;
12La undécima por Eliasib, la duodécima por Jacim;
13La décimatercia por Uppa, la décimacuarta por Isebeab;
14La décimaquinta por Bilga, la décimasexta por Immer;
15La décimaséptima por Hezir, la décimaoctava por Aphses;
16La décimanona por Pethaía, la vigésima por Hezeciel;
17La vigésimaprima por Jachim, la vigésimasegunda por Hamul;
18La vigésimatercia por Delaía, la vigésimacuarta por Maazía.
19Estos fueron contados en su ministerio, para que entrasen en la casa de Jehová, conforme á su ordenanza, bajo el mando de Aarón su padre, de la manera que le había mandado Jehová el Dios de Israel.
20Y de los hijos de Leví que quedaron: Subael, de los hijos de Amram; y de los hijos de Subael, Jehedías.
21Y de los hijos de Rehabía, Isias el principal.
22De los Ishareos, Selemoth; é hijo de Selemoth, Jath.
23Y de los hijos de Hebrón: Jeria el primero, el segundo Amarías, el tercero Jahaziel, el cuarto Jecamán.

26Los hijos de Merari: Mahali y Musi; hijo de Jaazia, Benno.

31Estos también echaron suertes, como sus hermanos los hijos de Aarón, delante del rey David, y de Sadoc y de Ahimelech, y de los príncipes de las familias de los sacerdotes y Levitas: el principal de los padres igualmente que el menor de sus hermanos.

1Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
3And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
4And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
5Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, one of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and before the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and one taken for Ithamar.
7Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,
8The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
12The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,
13The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab,
14The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,
15The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,
16The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel,
17The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,
18The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
20And the rest of the sons of Levi were these: Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
21Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first was Isshiah.
22Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.
23And the sons of Hebron; Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24Of the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.
25The brother of Michah was Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
26The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
27The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28Of Mahli came Eleazar, who had no sons.
29Concerning Kish: the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.
30The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
31These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.

1These were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children; therefore Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.
3David, with Zadok of the sons of Eleazar and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, divided them according to their ordering in their service.
4There were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and they were divided like this: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen, heads of fathers’ houses; and of the sons of Ithamar, according to their fathers’ houses, eight.
5Thus they were divided impartially by drawing lots; for there were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
