5Cada grupo recebia a sua tarefa de maneira imparcial, por sorteio, para que não houvesse nenhuma preferência, pois em cada grupo havia líderes do santuário e líderes de Deus tanto entre os descendentes de Eleazar como entre os descendentes de Itamar.

5Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.

5Thus they were divided impartially by drawing lots; for there were princes of the sanctuary and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
