For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above:

Porque su deber era asistir a los hijos de Aarón en el servicio de la casa de Yahvé, en los atrios y en las cámaras, en la purificación de todas las cosas santas y en la obra del servicio de la casa de Dios;

y debían presentarse cada mañana para dar gracias y alabar a Yahvé, y lo mismo al atardecer;

And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the LORD in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the LORD:
and to offer all burnt offerings to the LORD on the Sabbaths, on the new moons, and on the set feasts, in number according to the ordinance concerning them, continually before the LORD;
y tenían a su cargo el cuidado de la Tienda de Reunión, el cuidado del santuario y el deber de asistir a los hijos de Aarón, sus hermanos, en el servicio de la casa de Yahvé.
Y para que tuviesen la guarda del tabernáculo del testimonio, y la guarda del santuario, y las órdenes de los hijos de Aarón sus hermanos, en el ministerio de la casa de Jehová.
And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD.
and that they should keep the duty of the Tent of Meeting, the duty of the holy place, and the duty of the sons of Aaron their brothers for the service of the LORD’s house.
