5Denn David dachte: Mein Sohn Salomo ist noch jung und zart; der Tempel aber, den es Jahwe zu bauen gilt, muß überaus groß werden, daß er als ein Ruhm und eine Zierde dastehe für alle Länder. So will ich denn Vorrat für ihn beschaffen! Und so beschaffte David vor seinem Tode Vorrat in Menge.

5Y dijo David: Salomón mi hijo es muchacho y tierno, y la casa que se ha de edificar á Jehová ha de ser magnífica por excelencia, para nombre y honra en todas las tierras; ahora pues yo le aparejaré lo necesario. Y preparó David antes de su muerte en grande abundancia.

5And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
