El rey David le dijo a Ornán: "No, yo insisto en comprarlo por el precio completo. No tomaré lo que es tuyo y ofrecerlo como ofrenda quemada al SEÑOR si no me cuesta nada."
Y Ornán respondió á David: Tómalo para ti, y haga mi señor el rey lo que bien le pareciere: y aun los bueyes daré para el holocausto, y los trillos para leña, y trigo para el presente: yo lo doy todo.
And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.
King David said to Ornan, “No, but I will most certainly buy it for the full price. For I will not take that which is yours for the LORD, nor offer a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”
