Entonces David dijo a Ornán: "Véndeme este el campo de trillar para que yo pueda edificar un altar para el SEÑOR. Yo pagaré el precio completo para que la plaga pueda ser removida de mi pueblo."
Y viniendo David á Ornán, miró éste, y vió á David: y saliendo de la era, postróse en tierra á David.
Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.
Then David said to Ornan, “Sell me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar to the LORD on it. You shall sell it to me for the full price, that the plague may be stopped from afflicting the people.”
