3Das Volk aber, das darin war, führte er heraus. Dann legte er Feuerbrände an und hieb und stach mit Eisen darein. So tat David mit all den anderen Ammoniterstädten. Dann kehrte David mit dem ganzen Volk nach Jerusalem zurück.

3Sacó también al pueblo que estaba en ella, y cortólos con sierras, y con trillos de hierro, y segures. Lo mismo hizo David á todas las ciudades de los hijos de Ammón. Y volvióse David con todo el pueblo á Jerusalem.

3And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of Ammon. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem.
